Context: Went here on New Year's Day, it was pretty slow, their kitchen fridge was down, but no signage letting us know, so we could only order a few things. Pros: The outdoor area was nice, I ordered the breakfast tacos are $8 for 3 which is pretty good in my opinion, your choice of protein is bacon or potatoes but I asked for both). The B.E.C sandwich was really good (I recommend adding avocado and tomato). The food overall was good. Cons: Number one thing, if I wasn't watching my matcha being made I would have been sick for days due to having a (non-anaphylactic) milk protein allergy. I PAID $1 extra and asked for oat milk, and not only was there added gratuity, they ask for a tip on top💀....the he second he turned around to make my drink...he fills it with whole milk. 😂🫣 Thats why it should never cost more money for different milks because half the time, they will forget anyways and charge you $1 for 6 oz from a $3 carton of oat milk. Second killer is the fact they even have gratuity and have a tip option, and they do it so fast on the screen you don't see it. Like not only did I have to make sure my drink was made right, when we sat down to eat, you don't really get service, and they STILL A add gratuity and ask for another tip when you pay for your food... it was overkill. I still don't know what are we tipping for? My matcha was good for about halfway through then I started getting clumps and which are powdery and super bitter.
A place worth visiting in BishopArt District … lots of good reviews and I couldn’t agree more! It’s in a cosy spot down the street with literal brick exteriors and charming interior decor. The staff took our coffee orders the moment we came which was quite nice of them, because even though the café was pretty packed, their staff and service was very quick and prompt. 100% worth the visit and would recommend getting any of their coffee options
An absolute gem in Dallas!! From the coffee to the cocktails everything that they serve is a piece of art you’ll keep wanting more of. They have a beautiful patio with fans and lights, cute banquettes inside and a little lounge area. The vibes inside are cozy and cute, and there’s often live music or DJs making it even better. Not to mention they are truly a pillar of the local community! They’re constantly hosting events, supporting local non-profits, artists and creating a space that everyone feels safe to be their most authentic and creative self. Literally every single one of their staff is so kind, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. Lexi and Avery make the best matcha and will always brighten your morning. Liz will absolutely blow you away with her cocktail creations especially when she does her monthly Mellow Meadow events and is the sweetest angel. Thomas is your local craft cocktail expert and will show you the true definition of hospitality. Adelina and Maddie are the backbone of the team and will always go out of their way to make sure everyone is having fun and getting exactly what they need. Genuinely though every single person who works there will take such incredible care of you that you’ll never have a bad time. I could go on and on but moral of the story is this is THE place to go in Dallas for a truly one of a kind experience that will keep you coming back again and again.
Cool, relaxed vibe. Ultimate indoor/outdoor spot. Lots of shade. Great service. We tried a house-made syrup/iced tea special. Spectacular! And perfect to take along as we explored Bishops Arts District. Try it yourself, you won't be disappointed!
