One of the best specialty coffee spots in Houston. They offer a diverse and outstanding selection of coffee beans that clearly meet SCA standards. The espresso and pour-over coffee are exceptionally well prepared, along with a great variety of other drinks. They also serve delicious sandwich options, which makes it a perfect spot for both coffee and a light meal. The atmosphere is excellent, very comfortable and welcoming, and the staff are extremely friendly and kind. I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the best coffee I’ve tasted thus far in Houston. With the Cardigan Latte, La Tazza even captured my brother’s tastebuds (and that’s saying a lot because that guy is not necessarily a fan of coffee). I believe that La Tazza focuses quality, and that is its distinguishing factor. When I want good coffee, I come here. The coffee shop also has an aesthetic laid-back vibe to it. You’ll find that people love it so much that it’s often a bit hard to find a seat inside.

Such a lovely coffee shop! I love exploring coffee spots in Houston and this one is definitely going into my top favorites. The coffee was so good, the pastries were fresh, and service was quick. My friend and I found a table right away, and the atmosphere was calm and cozy. I’ll definitely be coming back!

It is a great coffee shop. Featuring Colombian coffees that one would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. A terrific tiramisu done properly, with the espresso poured over the savoiardi just before serving. Not cheap. The specialty coffees are small batch, high quality and that is why. The music playlist is fun. Always learning of new Spanish language bands here. Top of the line coffee equipment. Highly recommended.
