We have had and INCREDIBLE experience with LA Tutors 123. If I could give it 6 stars I would. We used them to prepare our son for his ISEE and ERB tests for middle school applications. The first tutor we were assigned was not a great fit for my child but Arash quickly got us the PERFECT fit after sharing with him the type of personality that would work best for our son. Our kiddo is very bright but didn't have any test taking skills so the work he did with his tutor was important and EFFECTIVE. After working with his tutor his scores went up significantly in every segment of the test. The only negative is that I can see it being prohibitively expensive for most families. This is the first time we've used a tutor, so perhaps their pricing is standard. We have had the best experience and wish it was a service that was accessible to all.

LA tutors was pricey but it was well worth it. My twins had a wonderful teacher named Kassie and they went from getting 48 percentile to 75 percentile after 6 weeks of extensive prep. She was always prepared, and knew the high yield topics to introduce the children to. The use of additional homework in the interim was also excellent and essential.

My daughter loved working with Gray at LA Tutors 123. He was such a game changer for her SAT prep. Before tutoring, she was feeling really overwhelmed and unsure of herself. Gray put her at ease and broke things down in a way that really made sense for her. What I really appreciated was how patient, encouraging, and positive he was throughout the whole process. LA Tutors 123 did a great job helping my son prepare for his ISEE test. My son plans to apply to a private school this fall. Since my son’s busy schedule because he has participated in many extracurricular activities, I tried to find an experienced tutor to improve his test preparation efficiency. I have contacted several tutoring institutes and eventually chose LA Tutors 123. Compared with others, I was impressed by the boss of LA Tutors, Eric’s professionalism. After understanding my son’s situation and plannings, Eric provided me with a reasonable recommendation to refer to and also an excellent instructor, Gavin, to assist my son to prepare for the test. My son and I were very satisfied with Eric and Gavin's help.
