LAASER truly saved our girl’s life. She’s a 2.5-year-old spaniel/min pin mix, so we never imagined we’d face a major health scare but in August, she suddenly couldn’t jump like she normally would and struggled just to step up onto a curb. We brought her in and learned she had ruptured three spinal discs and needed emergency surgery. The entire team was incredibly kind, honest, and compassionate during one of the most agonizing moments. We felt supported every step of the way. A huge thank you to Dr. Powers, Dr. Schumacher, and Colleen for guiding us through such a difficult time. IVDD is no joke, and it can truly come out of nowhere. Today, our girl is back to her spunky self and can wag her tail. She isn’t fully walking on her own yet, but she’s so close and the progress is amazing. The physical therapy department is made up of incredible specialists who show up day after day with care, patience, and expertise, and who have honestly helped keep me sane through this process. SO to Dr. Noh and Jess, my angels! Please, please get pet insurance the moment you get your dog, you truly never know. This was the last thing we expected. She was active, did agility classes, ran fast, and had no warning signs. It was purely genetic. We are forever grateful to this team. The work they do is difficult, emotional, and lifesaving and somehow, they do it with grace. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💜 Katie, Dave and Marlowe 🐾
