I've been coming to this doctor on and off for several years because I've had an accident that has left me with a permanent injury on my neck that always seems to become a problem. This doctor is great and always makes me feel better and the staff practically feel like family!

I’ve visited several chiropractic clinics in the past 10 years in 3 different cities trying to find a good one to no avail. Dr. Mecham was recommended to me by my mother who suffers from chronic and severe back pain resulting from a decades-old injury. Initially, I was looking for a simple, but high quality realignment that would improve my posture and help with tension/stiffness I have in my upper back & shoulders. From the first visit I found him to be extremely skilled and knowledgeable. He was able to pinpoint several areas in my spine that were out of alignment using palpation (light pressure on the spine to locate underlying anatomy). That was extremely impressive since immediately following, I heard the audible and wonderfully satisfying ::crrrrack:: with every position change. He knew exactly what he was doing. At other offices I’ve been to in different cities, I would leave frustrated not hearing that wonderful popping sound and still feeling stiff. The other places I’ve been also use a “drop” table that doesn’t seem to allow for proper “cracking” of the spine. Dr. Mecham has the “old school” or traditional tables that I’ve found to be very effective. In addition to a re-alignment, I also tried acupuncture which I never had done before. I was simply looking for something to alleviate feelings of stress and tension that seem to be causing a lot of problems for me physically. After “installing” the tiny needles (which were not as painful as I had imagined) I was left alone for about 15 min. Initially I felt nothing and thought it would be another thing I could cross off the list, but after about ten minutes something magical happened. My headache disappeared, I felt tingling in my hands and feet and a feeling of bliss washed over me. By the time Dr. Mecham came to remove the needles, I was euphoric. I stood up feeling like I was made of jelly. I left the office walking on the clouds that somehow appeared beneath me. I don’t know who out there is considering a chiropractor for their own personal reasons but as a perpetually stressed out mom looking for relief, I found joy in these treatments and will be coming back again.

The doctor is sweet, and efficient. He went over everything with me & he took away my back pain with just one session.
