Ordered $60 worth of food on uber eats and I got this… shocked at how scarce the portion sizes are… Food wasn’t bad, won’t lie about that. Salty but I love salt, the street corn is very sweet? But they forgot the tortillas for the birria and chips for the dip… called to inquire but they said were closed at 8:45pm and that uber would deal with the situation… Not going here or ordering from here again. Unprofessional. Still blown away by portion sizes for the price… Uber eats is saying it’s “not eligible for refund” so I guess I just paid for birria tacos with no tortilla, and “dip” with nothing to dip in it.

We were craving to try Las Margaritas for quite a while. We just got out for lunch and stumbled across with the place and decided to give them a try. Really I’m not sure why the bad reviews here, probably just people who had a bad day, because we absolutely loved it here. Atmosphere here felt genuine, very Mexican style, and service was great. Place is quite family friendly and noticed a lot of people enjoying their dishes and drinks, which must tell you there is something good about this place. We ordered something simple: some Chilaquiles and Tacos al Pastor and OMG!! Both were delicious. The spicy green sauce accompanying the tacos - OMFG!!! Finally a place that’s not afraid of adding real chile to their sauce!!! Totally worth it!! Loved this place!!

I wish I had taken more photos! Las Margaritas is one of my favourite Mexican restaurants in Kitsilano. They have great atmosphere, decent portions for plates. Very easy to share an appetizer and Combo between two people. The food is very fresh and well seasoned.

Special thanks to Sofia! Had a birthday celebration here and they honestly went above and beyond. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect, and the whole experience just felt special. Highly recommend!

We went to Las Margaritas craving Mexican food, but it was a disappointment. We ordered the half-size Fiesta Platter, Nachos Locos, and Pastor Burritos during happy hour this Sunday. The dishes looked good but their taste was terrible— the burritos were burned, and the nachos were microwaved. The service was even worse; the waitress was impolite. We waited an hour for our food and another hour just to get the bill, despite the place not being busy— it was practically empty (photo shows). The food and service clearly do not justify the prices. This experience was a waste of both money and time.
