I highly recommend Latin Dance in Toledo ! I had absolutely NO dance experience when I started taking Bachata 1 and was very nervous at my first lesson. I soon discovered that all of the instructors here are very welcoming, experienced and great at teaching dance. They break down the steps so that everyone can feel successful and be dancing in no time !! I am having so much fun and finally feel like I have some coordination. I will continue to take dance here and hope to add salsa soon !
Finishing my third class next week and I could only say positive things about my experience so far. Latin Dance in Toledo welcomes you in like family. I went in not knowing how to dance and now, slowly building confidence. Everyone is so welcoming and you’ll have a great time!
I followed Latin Dance a year before I attended beginner Salsa and Bachata. Im use to being in my comfort zone and had a little anxiety about learning how to dance with people I've never met. Best decision I made was overcoming that fear and just signing up. The teachers were both patient and detailed, and you can feel their passion about dance and wanting you to learn. The cool thing I didn't know is that they throw socials and event nights where you can practice your moves and meet others from the Salsa and Dance Community. I'm actually thankful this is offered in Toledo it gave me a new hobby and outlet and crushed my seasonal depression I look forward to Bachata nights and traveling to get better. The instructors break everything down in a way that’s super easy to follow, and they create a fun, welcoming atmosphere no matter your skill level. Every class feels upbeat and confidence building, and I leave feeling better each time. If you’re looking to improve your salsa, bachata, or just get started with Latin dancing, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend! 💃🕺
My partner and I took Salsa 1 with Zora! Not only is she an energetic, knowledgeable, and pedagogically gifted teacher, but the community we found is incredibly positive. LDT students and teachers welcomed us with open arms and created a safe, supportive space for new dancers. We are always excited to see them out in the Toledo community and we cannot wait to dance more with Latin Dance in Toledo!
