Working with Marjorie was a dream. I eloped and didn’t have a wedding party, or family with me, and Marjorie was my friend for the day. Marjorie knew who to call when my husband realized he forgot a dress shirt an hour before the ceremony, to doing up my dress. Marjorie even offered to return the vase my flowers came in. I hired someone to do my hair and makeup, and I got so much more. Thank you!
I hired Marjorie for wedding glam for myself and my bridal party, and am so appreciative of the excellent work that her and her team did! She was extremely warm, friendly, and energetic with our large group. She kept us on time and was very patient and eager to ensure that we all got the exact look we had envisioned. She even stayed post first look and group photos to touch up my hair after a windy walk around Quebec City, which was incredibly kind and a huge relief for me ahead of my walk down the aisle. I absolutely adored my wedding hair/makeup, and could not recommend Marjorie more!
Marjorie asked the right questions, listened to all my preferences and clearly knew what she was doing. She suggested a curl style that would work the best during the evening, and it was the best decision—my hair looked exactly as she said it would. She worked greatly with my skin issues to make my skin as flawless as possible. She’s professional, reliable, proactive, a great communicator, and showed up on time. It was also fun to talk to Marjorie. My wedding party loved their hairstyles made by her as well. Marjorie even helped them with some touches in makeup although she wasn't paid for this part. Highly recommend! Thank you again for great work on my special day.
I highly recommend Marjorie for hair and makeup services-- she is a warm, funny, talented professional. She did my hair and makeup, and my wife's hair and makeup, for our elopement in Quebec and did a spectacular job. She showed up to our out-of-the-way location at 5am sharp and kept the energy and laughter flowing. She listened closely to our hair and makeup preferences and executed perfectly. The overall effect was natural but high-quality makeup, and perfectly envisioned hair. Most importantly, she was a pleasure to spend a few hours with. She even recommended some great antique shops and restaurants in Quebec City for us. We were very lucky to work with her.
My daughter booked Marjorie for her wedding in October 2024, and she was truly amazing! My daughter is very particular about her make up and was very worried. Marjorie was able to work with my daughter and create the exact look she was going for – Beautiful, natural, flawless! Marjorie put the same care into all the bridesmaids, the mother of bride and mother of the groom to make us all look stunning. Marjorie was patient with each one of us and took that extra time to get everything exact. She knows the ins and outs of every product she uses and takes care to ensure that her clients feel comfortable and great about themselves! She was very friendly, funny, relaxed, and confident making the whole day a lot of fun. She is very resourceful and even had a sewing kit to help one of the bridesmaids with a slight issue with her dress. Marjorie is also bilingual and offers both English and French services. I would highly recommend Marjorie for all your make up needs as well as making your wedding day or event a stunning success! She made this day truly memorable!!
