Larry and his team were fantastic to work with! He was responsive, on time, and cleaned up the job site perfectly. He replaced an old ceiling light with 3 new LED’s, ran a new dedicated circuit to our backyard outlet, and tested the other existing fixtures to make sure they were correctly wired, all in a morning. Larry and his son even took the time to locate the ceiling lights exactly where we wanted them before installing, which is a first! Amazing experience and a fair price, I would highly recommend them!
When is the worst time to have a complex electrical issue pop up out of nowhere? Right before July 4th during a heatwave in Philadelphia, of course. We found Lauterborn Electric on Google and we were desperate. Larry and his team did an incredible job resolving our issue in a very timely manner and we couldn’t be more thankful! They fixed our corroded electrical equipment from water that was entering through a service cable that we didn’t know about. We only had half power and we most certainly needed full 100 AMP power to beat off the summer heat. Lauterborn Electric installed a new service cable sleeved in PVC conduit on the exterior to prevent a similar issue from arising again. Along with a new meter socket, they installed a 30 circuit panel with a new breaker for every existing circuit properly sized and grounded the main electrical service. Best of all, now our panel is labeled correctly as it was sort of like guessing before we hired them. We can’t thank Lauterborn Electric enough and should any electrical issues arise in the future, Larry and his family owned and operated business will be the first and only company we call!
I will choose Lauterborn every time - they do efficient, reasonably priced, and high quality work. They responded almost immediately when I asked about getting a light moved, came the next day, AND did it with really minimal damage to my ceiling. Would highly recommend!
These guys were fantastic! Family owned. Price was perfect. And they worked quickly. Larry and his sons came in, addressed the situation, and worked diligently. While also respecting the space around them. Another electrician came in before them and started the work and then disappeared on us. Larry assured me every step of the way that he wasn’t going anywhere. And that they were going to fix this. Can’t wait to do business again! (I add before and after pics of the mess they walked into and how they fixed it.)
