Lawren’s has always been one my favorite places to shop since moving to Alabama over 30 years ago, and living in Huntsville for over 20 years! If you’re from here, you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about! It is THE GIFT SHOP OF ALL GIFT SHOPS!! It’s where most all brides register when they become engaged. If you need a special gift for someone or you are just looking for something for yourself, you will most likely be able to find something they or you will like at Lawren’s!

I go to Lawren's every year to buy a few Christmas ornaments. They have the most beautiful selection, most displayed on decorated Christmas trees. There is a seemingly endless display of heirloom-worthy decorations for the home in this store. Lawren's also has an extensive inventory of crystal, china, silver, table linens, gourmet cookware, serving accessories, etc., any of which would make an incredible gift for a wedding or shower. They graciously offer gift wrapping services for free, and the end result is a gorgeously wrapped package. I absolutely adore this store.

Best place in Huntsville to buy gifts. Most things are high quality and priced accordingly. Wonderful assortment of items from which to choose. It looks hohum from the outside, but inside is a treasure trove of goods. By looking at things first hand, instead of online, you can see the quality, the heft, the colors of what you are purchasing. I wasn't even able to check out all the rooms of merchandise there. Be sure and devote some time to your visit. Next door is a popular bar-b-que place, so think about lunch there while you are in the area.

University Pickers in Huntsville, Alabama, is a bustling multi-vendor market and shopping destination offering antiques, handmade items, reworked furniture, and affordable secondhand goods. Shoppers can browse gifts and home goods alongside furniture from multiple vendors. The venue hosts classes and workshops in a classroom, plus after-hours events, open houses, and a rentable backyard space.
