Perfect experience buying from Le Coureur Nordique from start to finish. Not only does their selection have a huge variety of best in class running trainers and running carbon racing shoes but they were one of the first in Canada to restock in the Puma Fast-R Nitro Elite 3 (Fast R 3 - Ekiden colorway). Having ordered these online, I personally messed up the address I was ordering these to. In contacting their support team by email, I got instant responses which meant a lot when purchasing a high value carbon trainer online. Delivery took only a few days from their carrier (non-Canada post carrier). Will be excited to race the marathon with these in a few weeks at the Marathon Project and hope to make it in person to the store soon

To preface this, I buy approximately 15-20 pairs of shoes a year for the various sports I play, my lifestyle, gym and for work. I have never had a pair of shoes delivered to me with such obvious signs of wear. These shoes were clearly worn for longer than an “in-store try on.” The visible wear on this shoe was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Both shoe bottom cushions had multiple creases. The soles of the shoe were dark and dirty, especially the heel area and toe, clear signs of running around a dirty indoor surface, or perhaps outdoors. Clear signs of heel strikes. The inside of the shoe has tiny balls of dark lint from the previous wearer’s sock. Also the first pair of Nike shoes where the interior stuffing of the shoe was also absent (I have purchased easily over 100 pairs of Nikes in my lifetime). Shoe prices have now reached crazy heights. $200-400 CAD for good running shoes. I would prefer to buy from a store that would have better quality and control of their products when being sent out to their purchasers, and more accountability. Spending $200+ and having shoes looking like this is unacceptable. I am sure the employees would not be satisfied if they received “brand new shoes” in this condition. I’ll purchase elsewhere with my hard earned cash. 0 stars if possible.

Ordered a pair of skis from this shop and they arrived with scratches on them. They were good to accept the return but the product never should have been sold in the first place. Skis come with a “wax” prep so hard to imagine no one noticing the scratches while scraping or brushing the skis. Shop said they were never used but had “rocks in their machine”unsure if that’s better or worse 😅
