Did our bookkeeping & business taxes incorrectly for two years, ended up having to pay another accountant to redo their work. I’m still cleaning up the disaster this team did. I had a feeling the numbers were wrong when we were working with them, but they are supposed to be professionals so I decided to believe what they were saying. We paid for monthly bookkeeping and end of year tax services. When filing our 2022 taxes, the accountant on the team we were paired with told us that he was travelling the world so he was super late on our bookkeeping making our taxes late. He only finished the GST & Corporate tax filings the day they were due and had us running around to file them via mail to hopefully avoid late fees… not to mention he forgot to claim many things that I had mentioned in multiple emails. Leonard said this team member was let go, but we still paid for monthly services that were NEVER completed and taxes that were filed late and incorrectly. For some reason we stayed and did monthly payments again for 2023 taxes (this was my mistake). This year I felt like we were pushed to the back. I had to do most of the follow ups, and the man I was working with did not seem to care about my file or if things were done accurately. Turns out they were not being done correctly. They also forgot to file our corporate tax filing for 2023 until I caught it when the filing was already late, and all we got was an apology. When we brought our concerns up to Leonard he just brushed us off. We are now struggling to get our taxes and accounts back to where they should be, even though we used to pay for monthly bookkeeping through this company. I never write bad reviews, but the lack of care this team used on our file has caused so much stress, time, and financial loss that I could not ignore this. I hope they care more about their clients in the future.
