I live up the street like a 2 minute walk from here and this is the worst food truck I've never tried in LA. The TINY burrito was $13 and the meat was dry and flavorless. I was told the tacos are good and I decided to give it another try and again the meat was bland and dry and the corn tortilla was rubbery and tasted like the cheapest kind from the grocery store. I really want to like this place because it is so close by but I've tried it about 3 times now and each time the prices were crazy and the food was terrible :( My partner and room mate have also said this truck isnt worth it and we kinda have a joke in the household that it's probably good the taco truck down the street is bad or else we would be fatter getting it all the time!
Excellent Al pastor tacos. 3 tacos and a coke were $10.77. Sat at a bench next to a car wash. No wait, no line. Fast, easy and delicious. What else do you want?
Loved the food! I ordered tacos de pastor, cabeza, and some asase fries. For the tacos de al pastor, the pineapple was a nice touch and the serving of meat was generous. I loved how the tacos de cabeza was diced thicker rather than shredded. These tacos taste good even reheating them the next day! LOVEDD the asada fries. The right amount of cheese and meat! The fries stayed crispy too. The line and wait time is very appropriate. Salsas are good! Try the habanero :)
Customer service was good. We ordered two al pastor tacos, 2 al pastor burritos and 2 aguas de horchata. The tacos were good but the burrito was mostly beans and cheese. The carne asada fries were decent. They are different, the don't come with guac like im used to but instead come with nacho cheese. My daughter didn't want the nachos cheese so we were able to taste how crispy the fries were. We did enjoy the crunch of the fries as they were nice and fresh. The horchata was ok, could be a little sweeter.
Passed by this spot late night, I tried the beef, Al pastor and chicken tacos. The beef was the best one, and then the Al pastor. It was about $2 per taco which is a good deal. Parking is available on site, wait time was about 15 mins.
