This was a really fun park for my 3 year old and 5 year old! Loved the safety of full fence around with only 1 entrance. Will definitely be back. The kids especially loved the big slide where multiple people can go down.

Levy Park is a fantastic spot for families, friends, and even pets. The park offers something for everyone, including a splash pad, playground, ping pong tables, mini golf, and a well-maintained dog park. It’s clean, safe, and very family-friendly, with plenty of shaded areas and seating to relax. One of the best parts is the lively atmosphere created by free events like outdoor concerts and yoga classes. Having nearby restaurants and food trucks makes it easy to spend a few hours here, and the availability of free parking is a big bonus. Overall, it’s a well-designed, welcoming park that’s perfect for both relaxing and staying active.

Levy Park is a beautiful and well-maintained space that's perfect for families! There’s so much to enjoy—from the shaded play areas to the open green spaces and fun events. One highlight for small kids is the splash fountain area, where they love playing and running through the water. If you're visiting with young children, I highly recommend bringing a spare set of clothes—they’ll definitely want to jump in and enjoy the water! It’s a great spot to relax, play, and enjoy the outdoors.

I came here yesterday with my family, it was a great place to walk around, relax, and the baby had a great time playing. He even made a friend. There was a shaded area, where we set up. We weren’t allow to have lawn chairs tho*** we brought lawn chairs, ice chest, sandwiches and a speaker. Budget friendly & security walking around for safety! Would definitely return.

I came to Houston to support my son, who faces a challenging medical diagnosis. I needed to help him navigate the medical system during this difficult time. He lives in a one-bedroom apartment across the street from Levy Park, which has been a lifesaver for me. Levy Park is a vibrant urban nature space that features a dog park, a rain garden, a children's park, and beautiful landscaping. It is a place to connect and play, all for free. The park is filled with trees and flowers, creating a lovely environment. Nearly every morning, I go to the park and walk 2 to 3 miles. It brings great joy to see families, couples, and people with their dogs enjoying the park. The park has various tables and chairs. Some are designed for lounging, while others are perfect for socializing and eating takeout, but many people simply lie a blanket on the grassy hills and enjoy a picnic. On the same block as the park are a coffee shop, a restaurant/bar, and a Mexican hut offering tacos, burritos, and more, along with frozen margaritas. There are also games like ping pong, a tiny putting green for kids, board games, reading material for kids and adults, corn hole, and so much more.
