Spiro and his team were pretty amazing. They were very easy to work with, and reasonable in terms of pricing. The quality of the work was top notch. Nyelette paid a lot of attention to the details and made sure I was happy with the result. I would highly recommend this company!
Ten years after a gut renovation of our apartment, it was time for a new paint job. Our apartment is modern (it was featured in a Dwell home tour, as well as in New York Magazine's Design Hunting) with some tricky painting requirements (patching and repainting an articulated ceiling). I was attracted to Lexington because I read that it is a family-owned business (third generation as I discovered). I have found that these types of businesses often care more about the quality of their work than more "corporate" businesses. This was certainly the case with Lexington. They exceeded my expectations in every way. Here are the high points: Responsive: Spiro (the owner) responded to me within an hour of my initial contact. He subsequently responded to text messages late at night. Flexible: I had an extremely tight timeline -- getting the whole 2500 square foot place painted in three days. Spiro and Dmitri (the other partner) brought in a team of seven first-rate painters to get it done in time. Skilled: They did a great job patching water damage in our articulated ceiling. That required skill to get the patch level and the angles just right. It looks like new. Careful: They protected everything, and did a great job of keeping everything safe and clean. Simply put, Lexington is a high-end, high-integrity firm that should be your first (and only) call for NYC painting needs.
I hired Lexington Painting a couple of weeks ago to paint my entire apartment based on other customers' reviews. Both Dimitri and Spiro are wonderful to work with. They took time to help me select paint colors and types of paint finishes. The painters, Martin, Ripon, Tony, Mohammad, and Nissan, are all highly skilled. They paid attention to details and delivered a superb job. The results exceed my expectations in many ways. My apartment is refreshed and feels new. If I need to do a paint job again, I won't be hesitant to give Lexington painting a call. Elaine -- a happy customer
Hired the Lexington Painting team and I was thoroughly impressed by them. From the beginning of the process they were extremely professional. The quote they provided was detailed, timely and well priced. Dimitri and Spiro were always very responsive and friendly in all communications. The work they did on my apartment was excellent. I'm so pleased with how it all came out. The apartment looks brand new. They finished the job in 2 days (other painters had said it would take 3). I'd hire them again for any jobs that I have in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking. Thanks guys!
I did a lot of research before deciding to go with Spiro from Lexington Paint. It was such a great decision. Spiro was very professional, forth-coming about his schedule, and most importantly attentive about the job. We needed our kitchen cabinet re-painted to spruce them up to get better value before listing the house. There were many options, some very expensive ones, but Spiro came in and gave his best recommendation and also gave us the best price. After all the horror stories I've heard about home renovation projects, it was very refreshing to find out that Spiro actually has his customer's best interest in mind. He is very honest and sincere. Even though our job was small relatively to the larger projects that Lexington Paint was working on a the time, Spiro stayed very much on top of it. He coordinated with my building to send in COI, put his best guy on the job, and even threw in an extra coating at the end because he wanted it to look "just perfect." The result came out amazing and look essentially like factory-made (which means I saved thousands of dollars going with him). I'm overall very impressed with the level of service as well as the level of craftsmanship on the project. Spiro is a kind of guy who makes a commitment and keeps it, which is rare these days. I would definitely recommend Lexington Paint and Spiro 100% of the time.
