JJ is the best. He does my business and personal taxes. Honest, fast, thoroughly knowledgeable. He lets me know what I can and can't do, always friendly, always gets things done and keeps me in the loop. He advises during the year on how to handles things, and works with me the way I need to understand them. I am so impressed with JJ and his office, and have recommended him to many friends. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Extremely Unprofessional Experience — Avoid Juan Jose I had the worst experience working with Juan Jose at Liberty Tax for my 2023 tax amendment. After initially agreeing to file my amendment, he went **completely MIA for three months — no emails, no phone calls, no updates. I called the office multiple times and left messages, but received no response at all. When he finally resurfaced after months of silence, he casually told me he had been dealing with a family emergency and said, “What can I do?” — as if there was nothing he could have done to inform me or manage expectations. There was no out-of-office voicemail, no auto-reply, no communication from other staff indicating he was unavailable. Meanwhile, he had all my tax documents, so I had no choice but to wait. What’s worse is that despite the delay and total lack of communication, he still charged me the full fee, which was several hundred dollars, saying there was “nothing he could do.” That’s just unacceptable. If he had taken a minute to set an automated email or voicemail explaining the situation, or if the front desk had been informed and shared that info, this could have been handled more professionally. But the complete lack of accountability and transparency made this experience incredibly frustrating. 👉 please avoid working with Juan Jose. I hope this review helps others avoid the same stress I went through.

JJ has been a wonderful asset to our business - we were recommended his services by a good friend of ours and he did not disappoint. He was able to set up our s-corp for our business and within a week of our initial conversation everything was set up and complete. The process overall has been extremely smooth and he is very knowledgable about what he does. We're very grateful for JJ and his team and will continue working with him moving forward. This was my first time meeting with JJ. He was very friendly and professional. I had several different documents that I was working with and required some specialized work that was new to me. JJ did a fantastic job! He very patiently explained the process and how he was setting it up for future years. We met again and he line item reviewed the federal and state returns with me! Fantastic service, will definitely be back next year. Thank you JJ!

I had a fantastic experience working with Juan to file my taxes. I was planning on using TurboTax, but I was shocked by the size of my tax bill. So I decided to consult Juan for a second opinion, and I'm so glad I did. He quickly identified numerous errors in my filing and was able to save me a substantial amount of money redoing my taxes. Juan is extremely knowledgeable, and it’s clear he knows exactly what he’s doing. He was also very clear in explaining the issues and professional in every interaction, all while being friendly and approachable. I can’t recommend Juan enough—if you need a reliable CPA, he’s the one to go to!
