This is a great public pool, it’s definitely on the older side of things, but for a neighborhood lap pool how can it get better. Really friendly patrons great staff, and a clean pool. I love coming here on a sunny day with the big trees shading the pool it’s pretty top notch.
Had a great swim yesterday. The fast lane can be very fast or very slow but if you're a medium or slow swimmer or just there to do a little muscle therapy, it's great. There are only three lanes during lap swim so you're almost certainly sharing a lane. The showers are warm, the locker rooms are spacious, the water is very clean, and it's almost always the warmest of the five pools I regularly swim. The parking lot is a little sketchy but I haven't had a problem so far. Temscal pool is faster and more crowded but has more lanes and your swim pass is good at either one.
I love going here! It is right down the street from my house. There are plenty of open lap swim hours that fit any schedule, morning, afternoon, and evening. There is nothing like swimming outside among the trees! The staff is always friendly, and it’s very cheap ($6 with no pass and about $5 per swim if you buy a pass). As a bonus, the surrounding park is awesome with everything you could want, from play structures, to a hiking trail up into the creek, to basketball courts, tennis courts, and lots of picnic benches. ❤️
Came during public swim and there were lots of children. My intent was to swim laps. To swim in the deep end a simple test of swimming back and forth 4 times and treadimg water for 1 min, with a life guard watching, was required. After I passed the test I swam my laps in the deep end with less children. Overall a great experience
I love public infrastructure and services! The staff is friendly, there's always a lifeguard on duty, the bathroom is clean, the pool looks like we'll maintained and it feels safe. One things could be definitely better: warm or hot water in the showers. One thing would be cool to see: periodic water quality reports.
