If you are looking for SWEET sweets, this is your place! If you want desserts with flavors and not overpowered with sugar, go somewhere else! We ordered a chocolate chip cookie because, to me, that is always the measure of a good bakery (like a delicious palmier is a signature of a good pastry bakery). The cookie had so much sugar that we threw away more than half. We also ordered a slice of cookie dough cake that was all sugar and no taste — it seemed to be made from the same dough as the chocolate chip cookie. That also went into the garbage after a few bites. The best of the bunch was a chocolate layer cake with a white cream or frosting between each layer. It reminded me of a HOSTESS HO-HO CAKE. This was actually the only item we finished. The cake was moist and the frosting was thick and chocolaty. Unfortunately, it was not enough for us make a return visit. Again, this is not the place if you want a delicious, flavorful dessert, not just sugar.
