01/25/26 @11am. Our server was AMAZING! The Irish Benedict was absolutely amazing and perfect as is! If you're a bloody Mary fan they have the perfect budget Mary's made right. This is now going to be a regular spot.

4 🌟 because of the parking. 5 🌟 food 5 🌟 service I snapped a photo midway with our meal. We circumnavigate the block three times in order to secure parking. The cuisine exceeded our expectations. The chicken fried beef steak was flavorful and well seasoned, accompanied by excellent gravy. The restaurant delivered a satisfying experience.

This place! What a find and absolutely perfect for this hungry lady looking for a hearty meal after a long morning move out! Snuck in right before closing and absolutely welcomed. Clean, great variety of food and bonus was connecting with the waitress. Clearly I was meant to eat there on this day! Double bonus, easily parked my suburban on the street. Wish I was headed back to Norfolk but alas that ship has sailed!

The diner has a classic old-school look and feel, and it was packed when I visited. The burger and coleslaw were solid, but the fries, advertised as hand-cut, were disappointing: greasy, soft, and lacking any crispness. Service felt a bit off as well; the waiter seemed irritated or stressed. Overall, decent food, but a few things need attention.

We happened to be in the area so we stopped for breakfast. I'm so glad we got there just after 8 (for breakfast) because by the time we were ready to leave it was PACKED! There's a good reason, though. The food was fantastic and the staff was like talking to an old friend. We got the salmon cakes (my first time trying them and they were good enough I'd order them again), chicken and waffles, a kitchen sink dog, and then a basic breakfast for the tiny human. My husband had the hot dog and salmon cakes and loved both (though he liked the bot dog a bit more). I had the chicken and waffles and they were cooked absolutely perfectly. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that they syrup was too watery so there wasn't much flavor in it and it didn't coat the meal, just kind of dropped on it, but that isn't a deal breaker, it was still delish. All in all, you won't be disappointed. The vibes are cute, prices are reasonable, great location, awesome people watching, and just an overall great experience.
