A DISTRESSING EXPERIENCE TODAY! 10/17/2025 I’m writing to express my concern about the experience my son and I had today during his haircut with Rachida. As a parent, I expect a certain level of patience and understanding when it comes to services involving toddlers — especially during something like a haircut, which can be overwhelming for little ones. Unfortunately, Rachida showed very little patience or gentleness. My son behaved well throughout the appointment, only moving slightly a couple of times when the clippers startled or tickled him — which is entirely normal for a toddler. Instead of calmly guiding him or explaining what she was doing, she reacted with visible frustration and exasperation, pulling his hair roughly to reposition him and even yanking the haircut cape from behind, which ended up choking him when she told him 1 time to sit straight. She made no effort to communicate with him in a kind or child-friendly way, despite the fact that he is fully capable of understanding if spoken to with patience and respect. What made this even more upsetting is that we were the only customers at the time — there was no rush, no pressure, and no reason for such a hurried or aggressive approach. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously, as no parent wants to see their child treated harshly, especially in a setting that should be welcoming and supportive. I’d appreciate it if steps could be taken to ensure more child-friendly service in the future. The haircut is good but the service/patience isn’t. This experience left us deeply uncomfortable and upset. We will not be coming back, and we will certainly not be recommending this place to any of our friends or family. I hope this feedback leads to serious reflection and improvement in how young children are treated.. Thank you for taking the time to listen. Sincerely, A loving parent
