Living Arts Dance, Inc. is a premier dance studio in Philadelphia offering a wide range of classes for children and adults, including ballet, jazz, tap, acro, and more. With a dedicated staff led by owner Jaquetta Colson, we provide quality instruction, competition teams, summer camps, and recitals that celebrate each dancer's journey. My daughter is in her 3rd season at Living Arts Dance and she loves it! The staff as well as the techniques that are taught are diverse and unique. The owner Ms. JaQuetta and Ms. Lia are welcoming and patient with not only my child but me lol. After my daughter’s first year at LAD I noticed a boost in her confidence not only at dance but in her overall! I can’t recommend LAD enough. If you are looking for a place to have your little dancer blossom…look no further LAD is it!
Living Arts Dance Studio surpasses any expectation I had. The studio cultivates a beautiful community my daughter and I are lucky to be a part of. Jaquetta Colson takes the well being of each dancer as her responsibility. She cultivates amazing joy and talent. She understands the different needs of each dancer. Go to a performance if you can. I am blown away each time. Also, adult dance classes are super fun. Couldn’t recommend more.
Absolutely love my experiences at Living Arts! This is the second dance studio I tried with my daughter and EVERYTHING about it is exactly what we were looking for in a studio. They offers so many class and the competition team has performed all over the city and competed across the country. From my very first inquiry I was impressed with how information was shared. Since we started at the studio my daughter has improved tremendously! She came home from her observation class so excited! The staff pour so much love and dedication into the students and you can see it in her growth. She loves it there. They make you feel like family. The owner treats the students as if they are her own. Everytime drop my daughter off I know she is in great hands.
Living Arts Dance Studio is a wonderful place to send your child where they can learn Acro, Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and so much more. My daughter has been there three seasons and she loves it. I love it! They have a beautiful studio and great instructors. It feels good to be able to send my daughter to a school where she will get quality dance instruction. They offer summer camp as well as financial assistance. At the end of every season there is always a recital and an awards ceremony where all of the children are acknowledged for their hard work and dedication. Ms. Jacquetta is great. She’s very helpful and takes a personal interest in all of the students. She genuinely wants them to do well. If you’re looking for a safe environment to send your child where he/she can get quality dance instruction, then Living Arts is for you!
My daughter has enjoyed attending Living Arts Dance Studio for the last three years. The instructors are great and work well with the children. The dance studio is a warm and family-welcoming atmosphere. Parents feel included and supported when information is shared out regarding recital information, dance pictures, and upcoming events. I recommend this dance studio if you're looking for an overall positive experience for you and for your children as he or she learns the techniques, genres, and team-building skills needed for them succeed in dance.
