service was great! Provides a free drink when you spend a certain amount. Janna did my nails and she did them perfectly as requested. My only critique is to be a tad gentle when working on the cuticles. Other than that I am very happy with the results and recommend this spot! Manicure- $145 Pedicure- ~$60
Lamay Nail Spa is awesome! The owners, Jenny and Bryan are very kind and you can tell they’re extremely hard workers who care about their business and craft. They just opened the Ktown location and it is very conveniently located, right at the Wilshire Vermont Station building, so you can take the metro straight there or drive. The salon itself is very clean and bright, there are a bunch of tables set up for each stylist and each time I’ve gone in there was a full shop. I highly recommend making an appointment as they always seem to be busy, but they also take walk-ins. My first time visiting I had the stylist Duke, who took very careful measures to apply the Gel-X nail tips so they can have durability and endurance. Those nails stayed strong for 3-weeks and then my second appt. was with Eve, who was also extremely talented and diligent, moving with ease. I was just able to get my gel filled instead of getting a whole new set removed and re-applied since Duke’s application for my first set of nails were so solid! I am only able to go around 6pm after work and so I’ve usually been the last customer around but they still take their time to give me the full experience even though I’m sure they’re trying to get out of there at the end of a long day. The front desk receptionist (Tomi?) is very sweet too and you can just text their front desk number to be able to make appointments, which makes things very easy! They prefer cash payments but also accept Zelle, and do not accept AMEX. For these nails I got before tip it was around $125-135. There is a parking garage is underneath the building with entrances from the Vermont or Shatto side and the retail parking is on P1. Highly recommend this salon if you’re in Ktown! Update: One of my nails broke today after about a week after snagging on something and Eve graciously fixed it quickly, free of charge. They are very accommodating and talented technicians.
AMAZING!! I walked in and it was immaculately clean and beautiful and such a great bright vibe. I just moved back from out of state and for the most part I've been so unhappy with the nail places where I was living. This place had amazing reviews online so I made an appointment. I walked in and I could just tell it was going to be top notch. Immediately offered me a fancy beverage. The chairs are white and beautiful and everything was in working condition. The chandeliers, white walls, it's just gorgeous. I can honestly say it's one of the best pedicures I've had in maybe even ever. It seems most places these days don't even do massage or scrubs or any of those things or they last about 10 seconds, unless you want to pay for every add on. The prices here are incredible for the services. Lily was my person. You can absolutely tell she takes pride in her work, she's not just trying to get you out of the door like most places. I feel like most nail places now it almost feels like it's lost any enjoyment in going. It just feels like they get you in and get you out as soon as possible and it's not a relaxing experience like it used to be. I will 100% only be going here cuz there's no reason to go try anywhere else, absolutely thrilled that I found this place and Lily! Also I work in this industry and the lack of cleanliness and hygiene at the vast majority of places is shocking. This was absolutely the cleanest, most spotless environment I've seen for nails ever. Props to the owner!! The manager Tomi is absolutely wonderful. Can't Wait to come back for my Gel-X manicure!
this place is soo nice! i never leave reviews but i had a great time here so i will lol. isabel did my nails & she really took her time to get everything how i wanted it. her station is also very cute & decorated with hello kitty! they also offer free drinks while you get your nails done. i had vietnamese iced coffee, but they also had tea and mocktails. the first pic was my reference and the second pic is what i left with. i paid $130 for gelx + design, not including tip.
Just got my nails done here for the first time, and oh I loved it so much. Such a calming experience was able to breathe and relax while my amazing nail tech Isabel did my nails. Such perfect attention to detail. 10/10 would 100% recommend.🫶🏼
