LND Downtown Nails & Spa - Vancouver

Got gel mani & pedi done & it was very relaxing. Monica is an absolute legend. She understood my choice of nail art & color. Got cat eye nails with very subtle snowflake on my ring finger which she did amazingly, exactly as I wanted. The place is very clean & tidy. It was my first time at a nail salon in Vancouver as I recently moved to the city & this place is going to be my go-to place for sure. Cheers! EDIT: has been 2 weeks and the gel paint has started to peel off. Don’t know how & why! Chipped off nails are posted below. Don’t know if I’m going to get gel nails here again.

Amazing place, been coming here over a year and it’s always very clean and professional. They always run with my inspo. pics and Jennie and Zoe make some real magic happen. Pics are the manicures I’ve gotten here over the last year but pedicures are also amazing and very thorough.

This salon offers 20% off at the checkout for leaving a 5 star review. Do not make the same mistake we did. Me and my friend both booked in here for Gel X nails. The price was more than what we usually pay however after reading the wonderful reviews we believed it would be worth it. Initially we loved the service and designs. However after only 2 weeks our nails started to lift and within 3 weeks 4 of my nails had popped off and all 10 of my friends nails have. I have been getting my nails done for a decade and have never faced this before. We called the salon hoping to amend it as we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Initially we were told they would resolve this issue, however after only 5 minutes I received a call back telling me they could only offer 20% off and that their “warranty” is only 3 weeks. I stated that this has never happened before to us and they then asked that we submit photos, to which they did not respond and my friend then called the salon again and was hung up on. After I text to say we would not be returning to them, a message was sent again clarifying they would only offer 20% off. We wanted to love this place we really did, but we are beyond disappointed with their lack of accountability and customer service.

Came here instead of my regular salon cause they were extremely booked and needed to get my nails done specifically for a project. First image is what I got done, which is beautiful yes, but definitely not what I had shown the artist at this salon (other two pictures). I was on the phone and distracted during my visit, that’s on me, but I don’t feel comfortable to come here again and trust that what I’ve asked is what I’ll receive. Especially because now I have to correct it and get what I needed done in a rush.

Came in not knowing what to expect, just wanted some holiday nails as visiting from England. Aaron went above and beyond to achieve the same look as the inspo pic. He took his time and I didn’t once feel rushed, even though it was late when we started and late when we finished. Super friendly and I felt very welcomed :) amazing pricing as well, extremely fair considering how hard he worked. Definitely recommended
