I am a healthcare worker and deal with a lot of very traumatic accidents and unfortunately sometimes people’s bodies. I went for a fun night out with my family that I was visiting and was severely disturbed when I walked into a room with mutilated bodies. There was NOTHING in the description of Experimental Hughes to suggest that it would be this morbid. I had to dig through a body to find a clue and eventually became so disturbed that I was basically just standing there while my family did the rest. This kind of environment is very real for a lot of people in the world, including me and you need to have some kind of warning on the website for people before you send them into that. I came to take a break from work, not to have an escape room poke fun at and disrespect situations that many of us unfortunately have to deal with on a daily basis. My work is traumatic, and I go to do fun things to get away from it. If you guys want to have that room, you need to put a warning. Period. I’m very disturbed that an establishment would let anyone under the age of 18 enter that situation or that the would try to portray human murder and mutilation as a silly and kooky science experiment. Do better.

This was my first time ever going to a escape room and our whole family went for fun and we all had an amazing time! Definitely recommend this place!

I enjoy their escape rooms so much. I have had some weird experiences of the game masters not actively watching/listening. We have wasted time waiting for clues. Most of the workers are lovely to meet.

Fun aesthetic, but the staff didn't bother to fix our technical difficulties until we were halfway through the experience. We couldn't solve the puzzle because we didn't have lights and the tablets with the clues we're going through an update. The staff did not apologize or offer to help us out. *Update: We felt that this place had potential to be a great time despite our previous experience with tech issues. We tried a different room and our timer was not working so we had no idea how much time remained for the session. Two different staff members on two different days, same nonsense. We're going somewhere else from now on. Would not recommend.

We had a great time! The games were immersive and generally well done. I will say there was one puzzle in each game we played that didn’t make much sense or were a little far fetched for anyone to figure out on their own, but overall, we all had fun and it was a good experience.
