We did the Storykeeper as a group of 6. It was one of the best escape rooms I've been to. The puzzles are very well thought out and balanced. There is something for everyone and you really have to play as a team for navigating some scenarios. Jak and team helped us with well thought out hints when stuck without giving anything away which kept the joy of escaping and figuring things out intact. Highly recommended.
Just finished The Vanishing Act here with three pals and it was a great room! The puzzles were engaging and creative and the theming was top notch. Excited to come back one day and play their other room.
Went here with a few friends and it was an incredible experience! The set design was top notch, and the puzzle mechanics were so clever and intuitive. Even at points we did need clues they were really good at nudging us in the right direction without giving everything away. The two actors were incredible and very good at staying in character. It was incredibly immersive and a very fun and intriguing plot. Never a dull moment here. **Slight Spoilers** **Many thanks to the puzzle operators (Jak and Grandparent), you guys were amazing and super friendly and entertaining!**
Definitely one of the most unique escape room experiences we've been to. The puzzles were good, and the real-life actor was great. I gave -1 star because we ran into technical issues with two of the puzzles (slight spoilers ahead): * One of the puzzles has you turn certain items to face certain directions. We had them all set correctly, but the puzzle didn't complete. We had to go fiddle with each of them until the stupid mechanism activated. Some better engineering could've prevented this (eg. have each item always settle into facing one of 8 directions) * One of the puzzles was a combination lock from an expensive safe, the kind that has different directions than usual. We followed the directions correctly several times, but it refused to open. It took our fourth or fifth attempt of doing it objectively correctly before it decided to randomly work. Other than that, it was a great experience. I was a big fan of the analogies puzzle!
Boyfriend and I had the best time as a 2 person team in the Storyteller experience. • Staff and live actors are very in-character - adding to the experience, especially if you appreciate fantasy. Clear instructions, hints, communication. • The rooms and props are beautifully appointed, professional, and immersive. We were really impressed at the level of detail and aesthetics. • Escaping itself - was challenging! we made it with 15 seconds left - and felt a little sad when we thought we wouldn’t make it but method of asking for hints and receiving them was ingenious. • the theme and story was cohesive and easy to follow. Definitely recommend this escape room and can’t wait to try the other experiences. Exceeded my expectations for the price of admission. So glad i walked past this sign a million times on my walk to PCC. We think it would have been easier to do with more people but the hint method made it do-able with two people - and really enjoyed it as an anniversary activity - so we were super glad there was an option for a group of 2. We’ve been talking about it nonstop since leaving last night and have been telling our friends and coworkers. They even take some really nice photos at the end and send them to you! Got a bit lost finding the actual door but it’s not that hard. If you’re entering the alley from fremont Ave where the sidewalk sandwich board sign is, the door is gonna be on the right down the alley a bit - almost looks like you’re entering an apartment complex. It’s not - it’s very professional :) Thanks Locurio!
