I came in to have my antifreeze flushed and replaced for regular maintenance, and not only is Lonnie a fantastic business owner, but even his regular patrons are extremely friendly and personable!! I will definitely be returning to have my vehicle serviced here!! This is a hidden gem!!!
brought my car to Lonnie’s Auto Shop for an oil leak diagnosis. They told me it was the valve covers, cam seal, and crankshaft seal. I approved only the valve cover job. When I picked it up, they were confident the leak was fixed — but it wasn’t. Later, another mechanic checked and showed me that the valve covers were still leaking, meaning the job wasn’t done properly. When I went back to Lonnie’s to discuss it and asked if they could verify or show proof the valve covers weren’t the issue, Lonnie himself got defensive and said he doesn’t “do any of that video crap,” instead of addressing the problem professionally. Overall, poor customer service and questionable workmanship. I wouldn’t recommend this shop based on my experience — they didn’t take responsibility or handle follow-ups respectfully.
I brought my mini cooper because my car was shredding my serpentine belt and I needed an oil change. I couldn’t take it to the dealership so I brought it here, they did $700 in repairs just for the belt to throw a month later and have an oil leak that wasn’t there previously. I took it to another shop and they said the work they did was poorly done. On the phone the employees were super condescending, probably because I’m a woman, and generally pretty rude. I wouldn’t bring any European cars here to be honest, and you might have a better customer experience as a man.
Love this place for quality work and service. Nelson explains everything in detail and ensures our vehicles are safe! Burned up my rear brakes on a 2400 mile roadtrip from Washington state back home to Oklahoma. Nelson got my Element back on the road!
Lonnie had a good heart and cares about his customers . There are not many shops let out there like this one! Nelson is also has heart. No telling why this place is so busy and has so many long time customers
