We went to Los Bandidos de Carlos & Mickey’s for a retirement celebration dinner. Overall, the experience was okay. The food was average — I’d rate it a 5 out of 10. I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas, which were served with onions and green peppers, along with sides of beans, guacamole in a tostada bowl, and four tortillas. Despite the portions, the dish still felt a bit plain. My husband ordered the Revolution Plate, which includes a chile relleno, chicken taco, red enchilada, carnitas, beans, and rice. While the variety was nice, it didn’t really stand out. Our waiter rarely checked in on us, which was disappointing, especially for a special occasion. The atmosphere was fine, but the service and food didn’t fully meet our expectations.

We went to celebrate my daughter graduating from UTEP. The service was peak and the pomegranate margaritas on the rocks were amazing. 😍 I took mine above the house tequila and added Patrón. 👍🏽I ordered chicken flautas, beans and rice. The rice! Better than any rice I've had when it is added to en entré. Most rice is run of the mill but this was way more flavorful. I highly recommend this place. If I'm ever in El Paso again I will be sure to stop here for my Mexican food fix.

A wider menu than Tex-Mex. Pork carnitas were a signature dish and excellent- flour tortillas fluffy and soft. The tamal had very tasty masa and a rich smoky red sauce. It's a busy, kind of loud place. They have live music but we were there early so it was all recorded - still loud enough but even for me generally not liking loud places - I wasn't bothered by it. Staff was attentive and more than one came by to ask how things were etc. The margarita was good- I settled for the mid range "El Paso" versus the 42 ounce "Texas sized" one. Funky decor lots of alcoves with large tables - looks like it's a popular spot for celebrations.

Although the atmosphere and service was amazing, the food was the greatest in my opinion. I had 2 bacon wrapped shrimp and that was average. For meal I ordered the fried shrimp platter and the shrimp nor the breading had any flavor. I think it may be due to being used Skrimp Shack on east coast that has the best fried shrimp. Salsa was too spicy for me but tasty and probably just fine for everyone else so I definitely don’t fault them on that. My husband said his food was fine. Service was amazing! The place is so beautiful and just for that we may be back to bring family or friends here.

Decent place. Spacious, large and loud. They had live music, it’s nice and also loud. Food overall was decent, not particularly special. Good Mexican food, can find elsewhere too. We enjoyed our meal. Chips were large, I prefer the tortilla chips in small sizes. The walls had very interesting pictures. Enjoyed looking at all the different ones! Downside, they don’t serve sweet tea or homemade lemonade. Overall, decent Mexican food. We’ll try other stuff when in town again.
