I called ahead to check if they were serving $1 tacos, and I was told they were. Unfortunately, that turned out to be false. Although I was disappointed, I decided to stay and try something else. I ordered the three-meat fajitas, which included chicken, skirt steak, and shrimp. The food was ok, but nothing to rave about. I’m not a fan of skirt steak, and I only received three shrimp. Additionally, the chicken was dry, although I did have a generous portion of grilled peppers and onions. Overall, I don’t see myself returning because I prefer to eat at places that better suit my tastes.

I was very disappointed. The queso was cold the guamole was made in front of us and tasted like straight lemon juice. We even tried to put some queso, salsa and salt and pepper to make the guamole taste better and that didn't even help. My wife and I ordered fajitas for two and they didn't use any spices to cook them. We were at bowling tournament all day for 9 hours and we were really hungry and extremely disappointed with the food and lack of service. The only reason we ate any of the food was because we were starving. I mean we had to add salt to the chips and that didn't really even help them taste better either. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Wichita area. The only thing that was good was my beer that was on tap which is kind of hard to mess that up. I usually don't post bad reviews but something needs to change here. Being from the KC area there are so many good Mexican restaurants and this place wasn't good at all. Don't bother wasting your money on this food like we did.

Overall, the weekend brunch buffet was alright. The chips and salsa is average since it's nothing special and every Tex-Mex restaurant serves it. The fried chicken was delicious and so was the tamales. As for the rest of the food, it was nothing special but it tasted fine.

This place a has a lot of good qualities. I tried the pozole but wasn’t a fan (meat was very tough) but the gorditas were fantastic! I did find the salsa sort of bland but they have 2 spicy salsas that were excellent - make sure you ask for them!!
