We enjoyed an afternoon at the modern museum and were starving for delicious food. Enough art😝 This railroad restaurant is cute and comfy. The sampler taco platter was perfect. All the meats to choose from and toppings/salsa bar on the side. What a satisfying treat and huge meal. Next time I am in Fort Worth, it’s Los guapo time.
Three words: Tacos de Tripas 😋. My husband wanted his birthday dinner there because he recently discovered it, and wanted all of us to experience it. The tacos reminded me of those my mom (RIP) made. Tender and crispy, perfectly cooked. The staff was very nice and although you have to walk up and order your food, they brought it out to us in the patio. We’d walk up and get our own drinks. They let you open a tab. They were ok with us turning the fans outside off. They continuously checked on us. They were ok with us bringing the birthday cake and offered to place it in the fridge for us. Great experience and the food was authentic and yummy. Others ordered gorditas, steak and pastor tacos, and corn in a cup. They had a variety of salsas that everyone liked.
The corn was good Limy and slightly spicy, had a salsa bar the salsa could use some improvement the Cali burrito feels a little heavy but good and filling , the steak tacos are tender and not too salted. the carnitas tasted a little burnt will definitely go back the pastor ones taste like chorizo if your into that I just don’t like it personally. The Mexican coke satisfies. Not fresh tortillas but still good ones
Taco platter for the win! Tried a few different tacos and it did not disappoint. Steak was my favorite. Chips and queso on the side and a cup of elote to top it off. Will definitely be coming back.
