Awesome experience. Lovely staff. Amazing wines! Perfect place to go for any occasion or just a day out with friends and family. We'll be back!
I visited Lost Oak Winery with a friend last year and had the most amazing time!! First, we took a tour of their property, and we got to learn SO MUCH about the grapes and vines, and how they maintain their health and growth during the off season. We also learned about which grapes they hand pick and how those are processed, in comparison with which they purchase and then remove debris, etc. We also got to see where they ferment the wine and store the barrels. The room of barrels smelt AMAZING! The tour was absolutely awesome and we had a great time. We never felt talked down to and felt like we could always contribute and ask questions! Additionally, the grounds as a whole are BEAUTIFUL. There is a lake and a bridge, there are outdoor tables, and there is a stream! We found it to be beautiful! We also got to do a wine tasting after the tour, and this was also super fun and fascinating. The selected wines were great choices, as they all tapped into different flavor profiles and styles. I ended up leaving with three bottles because of how much I enjoyed the wines. The sangiovese specifically was one of my all-time favorite sangiovese bottles I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this one! Please check out Lost Oak Winery!! It is very much worth the time!
This is hidden gem. We came for the tour and stayed for a few glasses of their great wines. Wonderful tour, great property and most importantly, great people. We were lucky enough to sit down with the founder, Gene Estes, for a great conversation. He is a wonderful person. Do yourself a favor and visit this great place, you’ll be happy you did.
We took a tour with Ashley, it was so much fun. We got to see where they grow their grapes, the place they produce the wine and got to look around the beautiful property. Afterwards got to try 4 amazing wines. Ashley was so sweet and helpful. We stayed for live music and more wine. It was an amazing experience and we can’t wait to go back. 🍷❤️
We won a silent auction for a tour here. Really enjoyed it. Colby was a FANTASTIC tour guide, we learned a lot about the wine making process! They have a great covered outdoor seating area, and live music on Saturday nights. We met a great couple on the tour , and really enjoyed their company. The wine was very good, got to sample 3-4 kinds on the tour. We will return there for sure.
