Kris and Vani are what you wish everyone in the world was - welcoming, warm, caring hosts who bring a sense of peace, harmony and feeling of connection to everyone they meet. The music and kirtan chanting leave you with a lovely vibration and energy and help release the thoughts of the day that don't serve you. When there is a potluck, Kris is the most amazing cook for sometimes as many as 30 people!! Amazing people who live the difference they hope to see in the world. What great role models they are for all of us who can learn by their example. They are incredibly thoughtful of others and so personable that you feel like family. Although I travel for weeks or months at a time, I always have time to see them and join a Kirtan. I have been doing this for almost 4 years now (maybe longer?!). The connection with them just seems timeless.
I first met Fiona and Kris about 5 years ago at the Multi Cultural Festival. I have been going ever since and find the wonderful chanting meditation to be uplifting and yet peaceful at the same time. Always helps to clear my mind of the stresses of the day and Fiona and Kris are wonderful and friendly and down to earth. I now go regularly and have a deep peace everyday. I don't have room to list all the wonderful things this chanting has done for me.
I recently visited Lotus Meditation in Waterloo after first learning meditation with Meditation Toronto. It was so nice to continue my group meditation practice with down to earth, caring people like Kris and Fiona. The meditational chanting was beautiful and inspiring. Highly recommended!
