Bar staff are lovely and Great food, always a good feed but was told that it was too late to order at 6:30pm on a Sunday ?!? The outdoor patio was full of patrons and it was literally dinner time, disappointing hospitality and poor service from the kitchen.

Fantastic food and local atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Could put a local craft brewery on tap. We will be back for trivia night.

Nice location and chill atmosphere. Random adventure to go here, ended up running into a few friends, enjoyed some burgers. Enjoyed a simply tasty Royale with Cheese (I wonder how many places think they are smart naming a burger that) and a mate had the Fire Bird. Staff are friendly and service was good, even though the place was busy. Bowls was fun. First time I've been on a synthetic green. Think I'll be back if I'm in Cooks Hill looking for something to do...

In my opinion, they have the best burgers in Newcastle, can’t go past the firebird. Absolutely hit the nail on the head with the flavours here, simple and delicious. Maximum value with the Thursday burger special. Barefoot bowls is always a fun time, great for work events or even a just a Sunday chill. Don’t get in the way of the local pro bowlers, they take it very seriously and they can get territorial over the greens.
