My recent experience with Lukas Nursery’s new delivery service was beyond exemplary! I wish I could give more than five stars! It began on a Saturday morning as Mikayla B guided me through the vast nursery property, listened to my needs and made thoughtful and insightful professional suggestions as to what plants might really work best at my home. Then, she walked me through the clearance section to see if I might find a couple of beautiful right sized, marked-down pots there, and I did! Gorgeous! Camilla, the dispatcher called first thing Monday morning to schedule delivery for the NEXT day (no I’m not kidding, three days from purchase!) Tuesday morning, Francisco and Raul arrived to deliver and install everything. First, they offloaded and carried into our backyard the trees, plants, potting soil and incredibly heavy pots. Next, they carefully potted and positioned one large palm, then the lemon tree and the two other beautiful flowering bushes in our outdoor pavilion space. And lastly, they installed a dozen or so medium sized flowering plants (who’s name escapes me) in beds along the edge of our pool and cleaned up everything behind them leaving our entire backyard space seamlessly ready for our son’s wedding three days later. My husband and I really cannot say more about this seamlessly professional process except perhaps to add that we also really enjoyed our conversation with Francisco and Raul when they were here with us. Nice guys, great field representatives for Lukas. In a world in which customer service sometimes feels like a fleeting notion of the past, you folks have really nailed it. Lukas Nursery is my go to place for plants. When I needed a tree, I went to another nursery closer to home for convenience. That nursery made an offer with discounted price, but had no guarantee on tree or planting. I went to Lukas and found a much more knowledgeable team that provided me with information and a guarantee. They also have a delivery and planting team. Rick, Raul and Chris delivered the tree and planted it for me. They were a joy to work with- answered all my questions and left the site neat, cleaning up after themselves. They even kept the sod they removed so I can use it elsewhere…and the tree was a better quality and the price was less than the other nursery. Thank you again, Lukas Nursery.

We had the pleasure of stopping by to film a short video highlighting the history of Lukas Nursery and The Butterfly Encounter. While there, we also had the opportunity to speak with Edna and learn more about her time working at Lukas throughout the years. It was truly impressive to see how knowledgeable every team member is, whether you are searching for a specific plant or need guidance to begin a garden remodel. I even worked with another team member to start planning our own garden refresh and was able to take several plants home the very same day. Loved our experience here and will happily make a trip back soon!

This butterfly experience is really cool. Watching them fly around, take time on the flowers and they're so use to people that they don't flutter off if you get too close. There are a few places to sit and watch. The enclosure to have them climb on you is kinda small so it might be nice if they had a sign up saying don't spend too much to time so others can experience it as well. Small children don't want to leave. The chickens near the restrooms are so big lol. There is so much to see here. Parking wasn't a problem. The gift shop is really cute. Will definitely be checking this out again.

This nursery is huge! I recommend going with time because they have so many beautiful plants all around the place. The staff is super friendly, especially the ones taking care of the butterflies. 🦋 If you love butterflies, this is definitely a nursery to visit. The plants are very well taken care of, and the whole place is clean — even the bathrooms are spotless. Highly recommended!
