Gravy has been turned away from both Petco and Petsmart grooming because of her size and strength resisting nail trims etc, but she has been in to Lush Spaw multiple times now and they’ve been able to get her thoroughly cleaned and manage to trim her difficult nails (including her duclaws!) Tina has been the absolute best with getting Gravy back to us super quick and feeling softer than a cloud. Pricing is extremely low compared to what I paid elsewhere for a dog her size also. Deshedding is extra and 100% worth it during the summer months.

Again, we reminded him: **“We DO NOT want him to be shaved.”** We left Milo for his grooming appointment and waited three hours for a call. When we returned, to our shock and disappointment, Milo had been completely shaved. My mom asked, “Why is he shaved? We told you not to shave him.” Jefferson simply responded, “You guys chose that cut. Milo will be thankful for it,” handed us the leash, and walked back inside without another word. His behavior was rude and dismissive from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Milo came out visibly sad and wasn’t his usual playful self after the groom. **We will NOT be returning. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. ❌❌❌**
**Horrible service!! Do NOT take your pet here.** When we arrived, the groomer had an attitude and completely ignored what I was saying about the haircut I wanted for my dog. My mom and I both said—not once, but four times—**"We do not want him to be shaved."** The groomer, Jefferson, said “yes” but completely dismissed our request. We also had an issue because Jefferson insisted our dog isn’t a Maltipoo. We bought Milo (our dog) as a Maltipoo, and even his veterinary medical records state that he is a Maltipoo. However, Jefferson claimed there was “no way on earth” he is and charged us the price for grooming a Goldendoodle. We would *never* lie about our dog’s breed to get a cheaper price. Yet, both Jefferson and the front desk person implied that we were lying and even laughed in our faces when we told them he’s a Maltipoo. We contacted our breeder, who was shocked by the disrespect and disbelief we faced. This is actually the second time we've experienced issues like this at Lush Spa. Later, Jefferson began inspecting Milo’s coat for knots. However, we brush Milo every day due to his curly hair—we are very careful to prevent matting. Despite this, Jefferson kept insisting Milo's hair was too difficult to groom and needed to be cut short. We told him repeatedly that there were no knots or matting, but he continued to ignore us. Another issue: we explained that Milo is a very sensitive puppy when it comes to grooming and requires patience. Jefferson showed no care or interest in what we were saying. We even showed him inspiration pictures (included in this review), and he said he knew how to do that. This is such a nice place. Everyone is super friendly and very caring/gentle with my pugs I really enjoy the thorough communication before appointments. They will call if a groomer is out to see if you want a different groomer or to move to a different date and they have called a couple times to offer earlier spaces when they have cancellations The prices are reasonable and I get my dogs back with cute little accessories and smelling like a seasonal bakery item Pic is after their previous grooming in October in their cute little Halloween bandanas 🥺
There was no communication. I waited three hours for a haircut and my dog did not have a haircut at the end of it. They claimed that the groomer was running late and I am extremely disappointed with the service. The place was pretty good about a year ago but would recommend you check on how they operate and what exactly would be done before getting an appointment. That’s a before and after picture at the bottom. The charge was still almost as much as the grooming itself. Update: These guys did not even return my pet’s collar and I had to drive back 30 mins to get it in traffic and they were not even sorry that they had not returned the collar. Extremely unprofessional. If it was not for the one really good Groomer Christian, I would never recommend this place to anyone.
