I haven’t been to a lot of art galleries. A museum every now and then, but not anything like Lux. They’re free to walk through, they have a wide variety of unique art on display with most from Nebraska artists. They have a community art exhibit, and an artists alley that anybody can paint in. They have regularly rotating exhibits, but I’ve been three times during the current run and found/noticed/felt different things each time. They also have workshops and classes and events, and though I haven’t been to any yet I certainly plan to. They also have easy parking, and are in a great area for art in general, as well as coffee and food. I’ll definitely be a regular going forward.

I love coming to the Lux Center for the Arts! There are people of all ages chatting in nooks and corners, lively discussions of artwork, and original pieces of work in all modalities! I attended First Friday, which was a lot of fun...and there are free refreshments and Hor D'ouvres of course. I highly recommend this art center for classes and events. I also purchased some unique pottery which I could not resist.

A really cool art gallery, art workshop space, and gift shop featuring amazing artists, both locally and beyond. It's free to visit, and I love checking out what they have from time to time. Both floors are so cozy, rarely crowded, and great for a time and space of solitude and art appreciation. 🎨

Public art display of talented local artist Nature Medicine Song Villegas. Nature brings an array of skilled art talent that encompasses a story behind every piece. She has an extraordinary ability to bring forth humanism, empathy, and wonderment through her creations of art.

Small, but cool! Loved all the pieces by local artists! There are things to see inside and outside, and you can even do some POSITIVE painting yourself in the alley!
