Worst experience ever. Horrible communication. They say I'm put down for a certain time and then it turns out I'm scheduled for another. They do not have appointment reminders. Stylist Elisa was rude. I had been going there for about a year and to my knowledge only missed two appointments but was told I missed three and was then told by the stylist even though there was a miscommunication in times when I came into to have my hair done this is the last time she would do my hair as I caused her to lose money. They did not call me before my appointment a day before to confirm or even the same day rather 30 minutes after I missed the appointment each time. Then I had an upcoming appointment with her on Monday to get a style and wash yet she refused and would not hear me out. I'm sorry but when you needed to reschedule I was more than happy to and did not complain, even waited for you and you only. If you knew this was the last time explain it to the girl at the front desk to inform your clients prior. Especially if I have two upcoming appointments with you, you are not losing money. Because of this encounter I have lost faith in this salon.

I visited this salon for the third time. My previous two visits were great. This visit Kiya cut my hair. I have very thick hair and everytime I get a haircut the stylist will section off my hair and cut. This time the stylist comed my hair out and started cutting without sectioning it off. What usually takes 45 minutes for a haircut was completed in 15 minutes, resulting in my hair looking like a mushroom with stray long pieces all over. I came home and tried to cut the stray hairs but I am so embarrassed to go out with the way it looks. Needless to say, I won't be back.

Bearj did a great job with my haircut today. He was friendly, welcoming, and did a fantastic wash and cut. I had not gotten a trim in over a year so he did just what I needed. This will be my new spot!

Had been coming here for two years and saw David who was really amazing and gave a lot of attention to detail. He did a great job texturing and layering my hair. Was hoping to replicate the same cut with another stylist and explained this prior to the cut. It just seemed like my hair was blunt cut this time which I do not like. As the cut was wrapping up I questioned about the layers and texture. I was bluntly told by the stylist “We will not be doing what David did.” I was very upset and left. Not sure why the salon and David parted ways but I’m going to find a salon that will honor my requests. Never was comfortable with the receptionist either who always seemed disengaged.

I can’t say enough great things about Lux Salon and especially David! He is truly amazing when it comes to haircuts — I’ve never had a bad experience with him. In fact, I wait until I’m back in Arizona just to get my hair cut by David because I refuse to go to anyone else. I recently made the mistake of going to someone else and they completely messed up my haircut. Thankfully, David came in early just to fit me in before I flew back to Texas that same afternoon. Thanks to him, I feel like myself again! His skill, professionalism, and dedication are unmatched. Highly recommend!
