I had a very disappointing experience with Luxury Liners. My bosses account was double charged $18,000, and the company failed to notify me of this error. My boss only discovered the issue herself after reviewing her bank statement. Despite multiple follow-ups, she has still not received the refund owed to her. It’s unacceptable for a company of this size to make such a significant billing mistake, let alone delay returning funds until the client notices and raises the issue. This has caused unnecessary stress, and it makes me seriously question the integrity of their business practices. I would strongly caution potential clients to be aware of these issues before booking with them.

I recently reached out to Luxury Liners in California regarding a fishing charter for a high-end client. The company claimed to have 100’ fishing yachts available, but when I requested photos and a rate sheet to present to my client, they refused to provide any unless I first disclosed my client’s personal information. I provided my full name and company details, yet they continued to press for my client’s identity before even allowing me to review whether their options were suitable. For reference, my client is ultra-wealthy, and I have a fiduciary duty to ensure his privacy is protected. This was also a $20,000 charter inquiry . At that level, any reputable company should respect broker–client privileges and not be so intrusive. Sending over a simple rate sheet and photos of the yachts they claimed to offer is standard practice in this industry. As a licensed and bonded yacht broker in California with over 15 years of experience in the charter industry, in my professional experience, this approach is unprofessional and not how reputable charter businesses conduct themselves. I urge anyone considering this company to proceed with caution; there are far more professional companies that understand and respect both broker and client relationships.

We booked a yacht through Luxury Liners for a company team-building day, and it was such a hit! The yacht left from Marina del Rey and cruised the coast while we had catered lunch, drinks, and casual team activities. The open-air deck gave everyone space to relax and just vibe out together. It felt like a reward, not an obligation — and we all came back to the office way more connected. Definitely doing this again next year.
