The owner of this business quoted me $70 to switch out the crystal and bezel insert on my Casio Duro. Everything looked good until I looked closer and saw some pretty large pieces of dust under the crystal. He couldn’t see them and argued with me but eventually opened it up again and cleaned it, but after that there was even more dust and a pretty noticeable piece of hair under the crystal. Argued with me some more about it and was pretty rude so I asked for a discount. He offered me $5. I’m gonna have to go to someone else to take off the crystal and put it back on which is basically the whole price of putting on the crystal, so $5 doesn’t begin to cover it. I understand he put in labor and legitimately couldn’t see the dust but at that point you need to give me a bigger discount. I even showed them a video zooming in on the hair where it was clear, they could see it in the video but wouldn’t admit it was under the glass. I should have figured out not to go here when he couldn’t see any of the scratches on my old bezel insert.
