Service is a bit lacking. My friend told me he had paid a lower price than the one I was charged for watch battery replacement and I mentioned that. The shop owners got very defensive, which made me a little suspicious. I think they charged me more because they commented that my watch was very “expensive” and asked did I know how nice my watch was? I asked for a receipt (simple request right?), and they got even more defensive and started talking about me in their native language. They finally hand wrote me a receipt. They were also fairly careless with my watch and threw it around.

Unfortunately this isn't a good review. We took a ring to be sized up. A sterling silver ring. We picked it up and the first time I wore it it broke. Took it back and the man offered to fix it free. Picked it up an hour ago and get home only to notice a piece of the silver or whatever he used is coming off. I am quite upset. The first time it was just stretched so thin. Now it was cheaply done. I now am out $68 and have to find a new Jeweler to fix it.

I have had over a dozen interactions with the owner over the last 10 years,. This includes complete rebuilds of watches ruined by water to just simple battery replacements. He is responsive, relatively inexpensive, and warns you if it is not possible for him to ensure the watch is as waterproof as it originally was. I have nothing but good things to say about the watchmaker there.

Do not take anything valuable to this watch repair/jeweler! I did and was treated very poorly. I brought my vintage platinum all diamond watch to be repaired and cleaned as it was not running. When my husband brought it home, I took it out of the envelope and found that a diamond was missing. I immediately went down there to show it to them and he denied cleaning the diamond part of the watch and said he was not aware the stone was missing. I cannot believe a real jeweler would not inspect a watch he had just cleaned before returning it to the owner. I believe he thought we would not notice it!!! I demanded he fix it on the spot and replace the stone. He said I would have to leave it again and I said I would not leave it, and he must fix it. He pulled out a tray of tiny stones and placed it in the spot that was empty. Then took the watch to the bench to secure the stone. When I inspected the watch I told him the stone he was pointing to was not the one that fell out and he insisted it was with a very dismissive attitude. I put it back on the envelope and I left. As I was leaving, he never even apologized about the whole thing. When I got home and took it out of the envelope I saw a diamond fall to the floor. He was securing the wrong stone!!! I was lucky to see the stone fall and recovered the stone off the floor. I was so disgusted by the whole thing I am not returning to him. I will bring the watch to a real jeweler to replace the stone. Beware of this jeweler, he does not know what he is doing. I had to give one star in order to post this.

Honest repair person who did an excellent cleaning of my water damaged Seiko watch that would not even tick. The watch needed a thorough cleaning, and kept perfect time once cleaned. He also does the little extra's like adjusting the watch bands. I go here regularly to replace my my watch batteries, as he's always been able to open to toughest cases and insures its well sealed when done.
