My well used (155k miles) 2017 GMC Yukon XL Denali’s AC stopped cooling this week and the suspension has started riding like a bucking bull. Being new to the area and out of warranty, my wife found MPAuto Repair on Google with incredible reviews. Hao, and company diagnosed the problems and provided an estimate which equals about three car payments on a new vehicle. We swallowed hard but decided to move forward with the repair and they completed the work quickly and efficiently. Their positive friendly aporoach to everything was really refreshing! When I went to pick it up, they asked me to come out in the shop to show me the parts that failed and were replaced. Definitely not a fancy operation but they’ve earned my business, five stars and referrals!

The perfect mom and pop shop does exist! It’s MP Auto! This isn’t just a shop for me, it’s closer to family. You get energy from being here and what the stress, worries and every other emotion you have when your car breaks down will fade away after talking with them. I’ve never looked forward to when my car breaks down or the tie rod on my truck gets sent to space, but these guys get me right every time. As a whole this is THE shop you can rely on to have you safely on the road and keep you positive! Also they do oil changes and other maintenance jobs that you need!

They do good work and are quite personable but, as with most small businesses, they are inconsistent with their hours. As I'm writing this review, Google shows they close at 1pm today, 3/14/2026. When I spoke to How yesterday, he verbally confirmed they close at noon on Saturdays. I get there at 11:45 just to have someone listen to the noise its making (not fix it, only listen), and I was turned away. They weren't able to spare 5 minutes since they had to close early due to a personal event. Mind you, when I called on 3/6/2026, I tried to schedule an appt for the next day and was told they would be closed that Saturday for a personal event, yet online showed they would be open. Why are the business hours on Google not updated? Here it is a week later and they still aren't available due to a personal event but this time, its within their posted business hours. I was told to return on Monday but there's a real possibility that they'll be closed for another personal event and won't have their hours updated online. I don't live in Arlington so when I take time to drive 28 mins one way, the least they could do is honor their posted and verbally provided business hours.
