It's been the third or fourth yacht party we have had Ma-ro cater for us, cannot say better things about Quincey and her team! Very active in responding, on time, consistent with the same staff, Carolina is phenomenal, even remembered what our guests drank from a party a year ago, wow! Food always on time and the entire experience was minimal on my part setting it up which made my job so much easier as i plan some of the events for our company, only rating a 5 because it won't allow me to choose a 10, spectacular! do yourself a favor and let Ma-ro handle your next function.
I have used Maro for a wide spectrum of social activities including: 1. Wedding. 2. Catering cocktail party and 3. Private dining. This organization has performed spectacularly at all these levels. For the wedding, they managed the function as effectively as any private "event planner", paying close attention to all details including decor, staff and guest flow, and menu. They created an incredible ambiance based upon the wedding party's needs. For our multiple cocktail parties, they have always provided an excellent menu, and staff that were both attentive and unobtrusive creating a wonderful evening for all. And with our private dining, they created a wonderful menu, provided with service and style, allowing guests and us, as hosts, to really enjoy a magical evening.
We were extremely pleased with our entire experience with Maro Catering from start to finish. Mauricio was flexible and accommodating in creating the perfect menu for our bridal shower. His team arrived slightly earlier than planned (which was great!) and we’re willing to help with things like setting the tables and running items from the house down to the lawn where the event was taking place. The on-site supervisor, Ramona was phenomenal; I suggest asking for her specifically.
I hired Ma-Ro Catering for my mom's 70th birthday at home and they were truly a delight to work with from beginning to end. Shelby was knowledgeable and coached me through creating a menu, scheduling and rentals. She was only a phone call away when I had questions and even showed up at the start of the evening to ensure everything went off without a hitch. We first spoke just 2 weeks before the event and she was quick to respond and provide a quote. The delivery was right on time as were server Eva and chef Irene. They were professional and courteous, asking questions to ensure their service matched my expectations every step of the way. Guests glasses were always full and food was served perfectly warmed and on time (even adapting to our shifting schedule). The food itself was delicious - generous portions and so tasty there was nothing left on guests' plates. I really recommend the Ahi Tuna Taco, Spinach Artichoke Feta Tarte Tatin, Shrimp Romesco Flatbread Pizza for appetizers, Pan Seared Branzino Fillet with Sage Butter Sauce and Roasted Potatoes with Caramelized Onions and Leeks. The fresh bread display with incredible dips was an unexpected delight and the lemon tart made for the perfect summer birthday cake. To top that off, chef Irene graciously jumped into the role of group photographer in between cooking. She guided us through a couple fun photoshoots that captured the evening. Server Eva ensured everything was cleaned and left better than she found it. I could not recommend Ma-Ro enough. It was really important for me that this event went off perfectly and I truly couldn't have done it without them. I will definitely be using them again and you should too!
