Visiting my mom as she fell ill. I haven’t had Macayos since I Moved to LA and I’m so so happy there’s one near her hospital! Their hot sauce is so the best and love their shredded beef tacos! The good things about coming home.

Had an amazing family dinner here tonight with 12 others! Beth was our server and she was absolutely incredible. It was Christmas Eve and busy and we had a bunch of kids running around and they (the servers) were all chill about it and didn't seem to feel put out or anything. Beth also went out of her way to get me a custom drink order - so sweet, such yummy food (I always get the tamale bites), and good times and vibes!

Love Macayos for Mexican food. It's one of the staples anytime I'm in Phoenix. Fried ice cream is great as well.

Disgusting. The food was absolutely atrocious. Had complimentary chips and salsa, they gave us 2 containers of salsa which were both bland. The chips were cold, and all crushed like they had been sat on beforehand . "I ordered the award-winning green chili pork stew. The chili was fine. The black beans tasted canned and were not seasoned at all. The pork was horrible; it had a metallic aftertaste. The only award this dish deserves is the biggest offense to Mexican food. The kids tacos looked unappetizing. I was told that the meat lacked flavor and had an odd texture. Ordered the churros, enchilada dulces, and worst of all the sopapillas. All of these desserts were mostly grease. They were probably even fried in the dirty grease that is used to fry everything else. The total for 3 people came out to over 100 dollars. This was not even worth 50. The only interesting thing I found about this restaurant was those little margarita mugs.

A great place for great Mexican food. Chips and Margarita's. Their Happy Hour makes me very HAPPY! I bring my own ChaCha cup for special margarita prices, and Happy Hour food deals. Yes!!!! I'd seen 'Fried Ice Cream' on menus in many Mexican restaurants, but never tried it. DELICIOUS! And the BAJA sauce. Order anything that has the Baja sauce on it. You'll thank me. The employees are super friendly, and have good memories. lol
