I have attended school here and I have came here just to do studious things like working on my websites and a court case in their library. I just adore this school there is nothing I can say bad about it ( oh except it has a tendency to be on the frigid side) I used the library quite often as a non student. The building itself is just gorgeous inside and there are so many places to find a comfortable place to study , read, or just relax. The food in the cafeteria is very good also ,not that cheap, but good. `The new fitness center is awesome period. The gender neutral facilities are good for diversity as well as the disabled. But most importantly all levels of staff whether it's maintenance, instructors, cafeteria or advisors are all top notch personalities. This is a school that will do everything in it's power to help you succeed. They are dedicated to success of their students and will help through any situation that might slow you down or deter you , especially the RISE and TRIO programs. So don't be scared to just put your toe in the water and dive in at the deep end, lifeguards of life are always on duty. Encouragement is their middle name. The library staff is exceptional , helpful, knowledgeable and can guide you very efficiently in their department.
Not a college student, just complaint about college graduation at the fiserv forum. Had a distasteful experience at the fiserv forum event. I've never been there, didn't expect my flower base and balloon thrown away at the trash at the security check out, a gift for my sisters graduation. The security was very rude as well. At the end of the event, all graduates took a very long time to meet with family and security told everyone to leave outside at the bitter cold weather, no time for pictures with graduates inside, and outside there was a weather advisory so we left at the car right away. Would of been a good idea to put at the invitation a warning about what not to bring at the event! Or might as well leave gifts at the car since you don't meet with graduates inside anyways!
I was delighted to table at the 2025 Wisconsin Youth Climate Conference held at MATC Truax campus. About 30 exhibitors and over 200 student attendees were nicely accommodated in the meeting space. Lots of good presentations and conversations!
I am currently enrolled in the fitness wellness and health associates degree program. I have nothing but the best to say about my instructors. advisory staff that does an amazing job of making sure that we get the assignments and executing the projects.
I am I am beyond grateful that I signed up for Madison area technical college. It’s one of the best colleges and the most affordable colleges probably in the entire state of Wisconsin if not, it already is. I graduated in 2024 but I’m just now getting to this review, I went for baking and decorative arts and the teachers are just amazing and very understanding and work with you at your pace if and if you ever need extra help, they will gladly give it to you. I always wanted to be a cake decorator and going to this college really opened a lot of doors for me and really set the tone for my future and I’m very grateful. Thank you. Here are some pictures of what we made!
