We recently worked with Christa of Magnetic Magnificent Events to plan our backyard baby shower, and we could not be happier with the experience! From the very beginning, Christa brought incredible energy, warmth, and creativity to the table. She listened to our vision for a rustic yet chic celebration with the theme “Our Little Wildflower Is On Her Way!” and truly made it come to life. With a guest list of about 50 people (including kids) and a set budget, Christa helped us make smart choices—such as purchasing items like tables and linens that we knew we’d use again—while connecting us with fantastic vendors that fit our style and needs perfectly. Food: Herman, the owner of the taco truck, provided a wonderful spread—abundant, delicious, and beautifully presented. Guests are still raving about the hibiscus drink and all the fun menu options. It made the meal both memorable and interactive. Desserts: Kristine Piñon created stunning cupcakes decorated with delicate flowers in both chocolate and vanilla, each with unique fillings. They were just as delicious as they were beautiful and a big hit with everyone. Balloon Arch: The balloon installation by Breath of Fresh Air was absolutely magical—far beyond what I had imagined. It was whimsical, breathtaking, and gave the whole event a fairytale-like feel. This was the biggest part of our décor budget and worth every penny! Entertainment: We rented a large white three-sided jump house from Bay Area Jump Company. The kids had a blast, and it kept them happily entertained throughout the day. (Next time, I’d probably go for one with a netted top just to prevent climbing!) Photos: Christa also introduced us to José Alvarez (aka Mr. Stickers), who brought the most fun and interactive photo booth. It quickly became the highlight of the party—everyone joined in, and guests loved leaving with printouts as keepsakes. On top of that, we received all the photos digitally, and in a keepsake book which made it so easy to relive the memories. Event Support: To help the day run smoothly, Christa arranged for Diana and Reem to assist us. Both were wonderful, but Reem in particular was a true lifesaver—hardworking, thoughtful, and so proactive. She anticipated needs before I even had to ask, gave me time to step away and get ready before the party, and took such great care of me throughout the evening. Her support allowed me to fully enjoy the celebration. Thanks to Christa and her amazing team of vendors, everything came together seamlessly. The party was beautiful, fun, and full of love—guests are still talking about it! Christa was the biggest help a bride could ever have on her wedding day! Months before she helps me stay organized with spreadsheets having to do with vendors, personal decor, budget, out standing balances, timelines, and the list goes on. Christa has a strong intuition on how to guide, set-up, and communicate. During our wedding day, I could tell there was a part of me that was wanting to double check on the smallest of things, Christa reassured me that everything was taken care of and "this is why you hired her on!!" It all was so true. It was truly amazing to be in the moment and then seeing the wedding all set up just how we had communicated. We hired Christa for our day-of coordinator and she was incredible. Our wedding was low key (City Hall ceremony, reception at a restaurant's dining room). I debated whether we even needed a coordinator and was so glad we chose one, and that we chose Christa. Christa went above and beyond, checking in before the event to answer questions, check planning progress, and help with the timeline. The day of: - she helped guide guests to seats - she organized the processional so everyone knew when to walk and with who - she made sure my train was beautiful in all my photos - she set up our reception so beautifully and all from written instructions - she was there for any little thing, and was so calm and organized It was such a pleasure working with Christa. I always felt I was well taken care of and that I could trust her 100%! I would highly highly recommend Christa for any event planning needs
