We have had such a wonderful experience at Magnolia Music School over the last 4 months! My 7-year-old daughter has been taking ukulele lessons with Sara Jayne, and I really can't say enough good things about her. My daughter has tried both the group classes and private lessons, and she absolutely loves them. It’s rare to find an activity where she consistently leaves happy and excited for the next one, but that’s always the case here. Sara Jayne is fantastic with this age group. She has a great way of keeping the kids' attention and makes the learning process fun while still being structured. She does an excellent job of reviewing past concepts and building new skills on top of them, so the progress feels very solid. If you are looking for a supportive and effective music environment for your child, I highly recommend Magnolia Music School and specifically Sara Jayne!

Our 7-year-old daughter, Rory, adores her weekly lessons with Sara Jayne and is learning the ukulele so quickly! She started out with Sara Jayne in Ukulele 1 with a small group of girls, and every week I could hear (from the sitting room) the group engaged and laughing. Rory would always come out glowing and with a bounce in her step. We recently started 1-on-1 lessons with Sara Jayne and Rory is making even more progress and building confidence. We love Magnolia Music School!

Magnolia Music School is a true gem. Kat teaches her students with patience and encouragement, and really works to instill a lifelong love of music in each of them. It's not about being perfect here, it's about nurturing the creativity in everyone and having fun while doing it! The space is warm and inviting with special details everywhere that make it feel magical. Even adults will leave feeling inspired here!

Kat has been fantastic music teacher for our 7-year-old. From the very first lesson, she has been a shining beacon of warmth, patience, and creativity. Using the chord method, she has made learning piano and singing not only accessible but also incredibly fun and engaging. What sets Kat apart is her genuine passion for music and her ability to connect with young learners. She creates a nurturing environment where our child feels comfortable to explore and experiment. Every lesson is a delightful adventure—making up songs on the spot, discovering new sounds, and building confidence along the way. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a talented, caring, and inspiring music teacher. She’s a treasure!

We couldn't be happier with Kat as our daughter's music teacher at Magnolia Music School! Kat teaches her guitar and chorus, and she has a remarkable ability to be incredibly enthusiastic and make learning fun, while also being wonderfully supportive and sensitive when offering constructive feedback. She truly understands our 10-year-old, and it's clear our daughter feels a strong connection with her. This has ignited an even greater love for music in our daughter, and she eagerly looks forward to choosing new songs. Plus, Kat is fantastic at communicating with us as parents. We're so excited for the future of Magnolia Music School!
