This is one of the best live music venues that I've been to. Super cool old school vibes for the retro bar and bowling alley. Upstairs concert space is good. Bar and food is really great. Love the fries. The band is great.

An iconic and electric old school bar that had great cocktails, plenty of gathering space for socials and bowling lanes. It felt like we were in married with children’s living room on their basement level!

Short people be warned, the stage at the Roxy is SO LOW to the ground. I'm 5'4 and I couldn't see a thing for the entire concert. We left and my husband was like, what did you think of the drummer. I was like, there was a drummer? Normally I hang to the back so I can see over others, but the layout of this venue makes that impossible for a busy show. Disappointing. Amazing sound, though!

I grew up in the 1980's bowling at Mahall's regularly in bowling leagues in elementary and middle school. At first, I was sad to hear that the bowling alley changed hands but I live what they did with it. My aunt, who grew up with one of the Mahall daughters spoke of a beautiful India inspired painting done by her that was underneath the wood paneling in the bar. I am very pleased with the esthetic and overjoyed to see the painting preserved. I spent a Friday evening bowling with my daughter while visiting from Georgia, there was a concert and plenty going on. It was the highlight of her trip. I was glad to once again be bowling at Mahall's. It was approaching 11 pm and we were getting hungry. We were both surprised to find out how good the food is. If you are coming home to Lakewood for a visit, don't skip Mahall's, If you live here and have never been, why haven't you come here? There's something here for everyone. I love what new owners have done and look forward to another 100 years.

100 year old place with some kitchy spaces. The basement 70s bar is a nostalgic nod to years gone by and old velvety stuff, retro bowling alleys are that way because they've never been upgraded but still very cool. Band area was okay but the stage on the small venue could have been higher, I'm 6'5 and I couldn't see the band that well. Food not bad either. Overall take away, fun place to see a band, and frankly, I really wanted to bowl
