If you want THE BEST chicken fried chicken or Chicken Fried Steak this is your place. This home cooking restores the soul. A must on your lists of places to try in G-town! Amazing family owned and operated place.

I’ve been here before and got a salad. The salad was good but other things on the menu caught my eye. I’m always iffy when it comes to trying fish sandwiches anywhere because they’re always soggy and the tartar sauce is always gross. I ordered the crispy cod this time and was BLOWN AWAY! The cod was so crispy, the sandwich was basically two sandwiches, and the tartar sauce was so fresh and flavorful. Also fries are usually just order fillers because, well, fries are fries. NOT HERE, I heard they hired an angel to kiss and bless these fries with flavor and crispness. Love it here! Love the relaxing vibe and the table side conversations. Oh their teas are good too!

Really nice place. Did was outstanding. My wife got the nana burger and it was still plenty with the fries. I got the Nathan's chicken (chicken fried chicken on mashed potatoes) the sauce was wonderful. Owners were super nice. Easy to park too. Downtown Garland was nice on a week night.

The brown gravy was out of this world! All of the food was extremely high quality, I felt like I was eating a home cooked meal from a seasoned home chef. The salad was very fresh and the salmon was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend giving this place a try!!
