My 8yo son and my husband booked a first time ever deep sea fishing trip with The Majesty and had the absolute best time. They had Captain Chris and Nolan was their crew member. My husband said that Logan was extremely helpful to my son and spent a lot of time and patience with him and let him “high five” every fish they threw back. Captain Chris even spent time baiting my son’s hook and trying to help him catch a big fish. Something ate the bait and left just the head but my son doesn’t give up easy so we just booked a second trip. Tell Captain Chris that Jadon took this as a challenge so we’re coming back! Thank you so much for not only making this an incredible experience but everyone went above and beyond to be sure it was enjoyable. We can’t wait to go back and this time I’m coming too!

I'd say over all is was a good trip..8 hr fishing trip and 1.5 hrs and back so really only 5 hrs of fish time.. would have liked more like 6 hrs. With 40 others on board it was tough, a lot of crowding, moving bumping etc but for the most part everyone was cordial. I'd say crew did pretty good but they definitely played favorites maybe for tips not sure..but it was noticeable in some cases. I was a bit disappointed we moved like 6 times and each time we had to cruise another 15 to 20 min so lost another hr or so time even locations we were hitting a lot of fish. I showed up to pay didn't have me on reservation and then charged me 4 percent to use my credit card made no mention on website or when I called to reserve. Last was time on ok phone would get a mil discount when time them I was retired and then then showed up and was only Active Duty. Really ? Esp in this area..I had 21 years military and retired with several deployments. Anyway did catch some fish that were keepers so can't compain but there are some things to be aware of. Oh conditions were ROUGH..very few fishing charters out. Over half the people on the boat thre up off the side. I was ill and never get sea sick. No fault of ship but we very aware before you sign up and if you can't hack it don't go or bring motion sickness stuff

It was and awesome fish trip? for me. I have not been out in over 30 years. Took my grandson for his first time and it was all I could hear about. on his way back to college. the majesty. Deep sea fishing. Him and I definitely, will be back friendly crew, friendly people the Captain new exactly what to do?

Context matters. I had just laid my father to rest the week prior and made the drive down to Jacksonville to spend some time with friends and take a much-needed break. As a bucket list item—and with my friends soon relocating to Tennessee—I decided to book a fishing charter. I took a chance on Majesty Charters, and I’m incredibly grateful that I did. Fishing that day was tough. The bite was slow, and we only managed a few red snappers early on. The crew worked tirelessly, motoring from spot to spot, doing everything they could to put us on fish. What stood out most was how invested they were in our success. They weren’t just going through the motions—they genuinely wanted us to catch something memorable. Knowing nothing about saltwater fishing I made sure to follow the guidance of one of the crew members, Michael McGrady (forgive me if I’ve misspelled that). His advice paid off in a big way. By the end of the day, I landed a massive Greater Amberjack weighing between 50 and 60 pounds—the biggest fish I’ve ever caught. If you want to catch fish listen and follow what they tell you! Words fall short of describing what that moment meant to me. In many ways, it felt like a gift from heaven from my father—something he would have celebrated with me. It was more than a bucket list achievement; it was healing. I can’t thank Majesty Charters enough for their professionalism, perseverance, and genuine care. If you’re considering a fishing trip in the Jacksonville area, I highly recommend them. Listen to the crew—they know what they’re doing. And if you’re lucky, you might just leave with more than fish. You might leave with a memory that lasts a lifetime.

What an incredible experience! It was my first time deep sea fishing, and the crew was not only professional but also super friendly and attentive. I honestly didn’t expect us to catch so many fish! Our friends caught some Bonito and generously shared half with us. The crew even cleaned the fish for us at the end, which was such a nice touch. My husband made sashimi with the fish we brought home—and wow, it was absolutely delicious!
