Had the best time with my girl Ava! She did my makeup for a modeling photoshoot and I was so happy with the results! Flawless base, great application, and amazing conversation. What happened with my booking is completely unacceptable and I need to make it clear how badly this impacted me. I hired Ava for my first bodybuilding show in Las Vegas with the understanding that she would provide hair and makeup in my hotel room. This was booked so I could eliminate unnecessary stress, focus on my prep, and step on stage with confidence knowing this part of the process was handled. Instead, she cancelled on me just a week before the show and told me your partner could take over. I went along with that, only to have her partner cancel at midnight the night before my show (glad I woke up at 4:30am to see that). That timing was beyond unprofessional. By then it was too late to secure a reliable replacement through normal channels, leaving me scrambling in the middle of the night and again in the morning when I should have been resting, hydrating, and mentally preparing to step on stage. She sent me a list of other people to try, but that was not a solution. She did not take any responsibility to make sure I was covered, nor did she secure a replacement on my behalf. Simply sending names hours before my competition was the equivalent of abandoning me at the last second. This left me in a position of running around stressed out and trying to salvage something that should never have been my problem in the first place. For someone in your line of work, reliability is not optional. Clients book you because these moments are important, and there is low margin for error. Not only having you cancel but your "backup" magically having an emergency and having to cancel that late, left me hanging and shifted all of the burden onto me... that's about as unprofessional as it gets. This show was a milestone for me, and instead of focusing on my stage presence, I was dealing with panic and damage control because of her lack of accountability.

I had an amazing experience with Ava to help get me Beyhive ready for the Cowboy Carter concert . She took her time on my face and made sure my makeup was sweat proof to combat the Las Vegas heat and humidity and it didn’t smear or smug when changing into my cute concert outfit. I sent pictures of how I wanted my eyes to look and she made them really pop the way I wanted. I was very pleased and happy with the communication before hand and the whole overall process. This was my first time hiring a makeup artist out of town for an event and I definitely will be using her in the future when I come to Vegas for other events. I got so many compliments on my makeup I was sad when I had to take it off because it was so pretty. Ava is such a professional she will ensure you are happy with the process from start to finish. Anyone looking for a great makeup artist in Las Vegas definitely should give her a try you won’t be disappointed!!
