Malibu Jack's Thornton is a premier indoor amusement center offering a thrilling escape for families and groups. Featuring two mini-golf courses, roller coasters, arcades, go-karts, bumper cars, laser tag, duckpin bowling, and a dedicated play area for little ones, it's designed to entertain everyone. With food, drinks, and a bar on-site, it's the perfect spot for birthday parties, events, or a day of adventure. Despite being newly opened, we're committed to improving our facilities and providing exceptional service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest.
I’ll start by saying a group of ten of us went and the kids had a blast. We were there for close to 5 hours. This is a proper indoor amusement park. The downside, for a location that just opened, it is in rough conditions. Both men’s bathrooms stall doors locks were broken and replaced with cheap deadbolts. Half of the arcade machines weren’t working. 1/3 of the bowling alley lanes were broken and not returning balls properly. The bumper cars were intermittently available. The restaurant was out of bottled water, and 3 out of the 4 flavors of ICEE weren’t available.
This place is amazing and a hidden new gem! It just opened about a month ago, and it has so many things for all ages. 2 mini golf courses, roller coasters, several arcades, a play area for littles, bumper cars, go carts and so much more! We took our 4 yr old and he had a blast, so we know it’s great for littles and big kids! Also it’s deceiving from the outside just how big it is They also have food/drinks and a bar opening soon (Edit from 12/29 visit - I changed it to 4 stars because 75% of the arcade machines were now broken. We wasted money buying a play card we couldn’t use! But can keep it for next time. Still had a blast)
First time visiting and was a little disappointed. Half the arcade games were out of service. The bowling was ok, we had to retrieve our balls the entire game because the return mechanism wasn't forceful enough to send the ball back up the incline. As for the larger rides, the one ride my kids really wanted to ride, the bumper cars was out of service the entire day. The Tropical mini golf wasn't open the entire time we were there. The Wipeout only ran once or twice every hour, no staff to run it. I watched the same staff being shuffled to different areas because so many of the rides and games were unmanned. We spent $180 and were there for over 4 hours for 2 rounds of Glow Golf, 3 rounds of Go-Karts, 1 round of bowling, 1 round of Dark Simulator 3 rounds of Droptower rides, 3 coaster rides, and 1/2 the arcade games that were available. Too pricey and too disappointing to say the least. We learned an expensive lesson that day. Walk the premises first before spending. See what your really getting for your money!!
A Five-Star Experience Thanks to Outstanding Service from Kelly! I recently visited Malibu Jacks and I have to say, it was an absolute blast from start to finish! The facility itself is fantastic, offering a great selection of fun activities that kept everyone in my group entertained for hours. Whether it was the go-karts, the arcade, or the miniature golf, everything was well-maintained and genuinely enjoyable. However, what truly elevated this experience from good to outstanding was the incredible customer service we received from an employee named Kelly. From the moment we started our visit, Kelly was the definition of kind-hearted service. She was attentive, warm, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find someone who is so genuinely dedicated to ensuring every customer leaves happy, but Kelly clearly is. She provided seamless support from the start, helping us navigate the games and even resolving a minor ticket issue with efficiency and a fantastic, positive attitude. The kindness and personalized service Kelly showed made us feel completely welcome and valued. She is a true asset to Malibu Jacks and a perfect example of what great customer service should look like. If you’re planning a trip to Malibu Jacks, expect high-energy fun, and if you have the pleasure of interacting with Kelly, you're guaranteed to have a smooth, positive, and memorable experience. We will absolutely be back!
This was the first Malibu Jacks location I’ve ever been to, and I was fairly impressed! Being a new location there is still active training of employees going on, and there are still kinks to be worked out, but I had a great experience there tonight! The handful of rides they have are good for their size and caliber, the two miniature golf courses aren’t bad for indoor courses, and the arcade has a smaller but varied collection of modern redemption and video arcade games. The pricing for the games, rides, and food felt reasonable and competitive! Hopefully they can form a friendly competition with the nearby Boondocks and stay around in this area! I’ll definitely be going back to experience what I didn’t tonight, mainly the laser tag, duckpin bowling, second miniature golf course, go karts, and dark ride/3D simulator!
