We had a great ride at paramount ranch today. Our guide, Alexia, was spectacular and so good at her job. Not only does she have the perfect temperament to deal with eight riders and horses and also a new horse (she rode), two days on the job, But she went above and beyond to ensure the riders and horses were matched appropriately (with very little time to assess). I’m not sure how she did it, but she was very good at ensuring the right rider was assigned to the right horse. She deserves five + stars all for herself. It was my son’s first time riding and he did a great job because the horse he was on was perfect for him. We ended up at the back of the line, but it didn’t feel like we were excluded by any means. Also, the ride was beautiful! I haven’t ridden a horse on a trail ride since 2010… But I felt comfortable and secure. Thank you for a great ride! #horsewhispereralexia
We thoroughly enjoyed our horseback riding experience with Malibu Riders. Booking was easy and from the beginning, communication was solid... they texted me directly to see if we could ride earlier in the morning due to a heat warning. We arrived to find our cheerful guide Kris setting up. The horses were beautiful and well cared for, and Kris was knowledgeable and helpful, fully prepared for any skill level. Saying that our guide Kris cared is really an understatement... during the ride a large oak branch fell on her! She got thrown off when her horse got spooked and ran away. When the dust settled her very first concern was for the other riders... it was crazy. Luckily nobody got hurt badly and we were eventually able to continue the ride, but hats off to Kris for being a trooper... even taking loads of photos of us later by her favorite oak tree. Overall, the experience was excellent and I couldn't recommend it more.
My wife and I went for a ride a couple days before Christmas. Cierra was our guide and she made it a great experience for us! We had never rode horses before and she made us feel safe about getting on the horses, showed us how to ride the horses, and checked on us constantly while on the trail. The trail it self was great with views of the hills and ocean. The horses have great temperament and are easy to ride. It was really a great experience. We had a lot of fun. Thank you for the ride!
